Literally just got back from a GoT finale party with 20+ people and everyone said it fcking sucked just like pretty much everyone ITT besides a couple delusional people here.

There were people even calling some of my friends just to say how chit it was.

what a sad ending for Jon snow, makes me teary eye thinking of where he came and where he is going.

lived his life as a lie, died for bunch of murderers, fight through horrible wars, did always the right thing, and he got punished for it. now he is entitled siblings got all they want , and he is being sent to the end of the world in the cold to grow old and die like the Mormont.

the rich and the families with name, still got all they want, Sansa got the fukkin Queen of the north, Bran the useless got the whole kingdom basically for doing nothing. Arya the free spirit doesnt even want to commit to anything and backpack her way to west. Tyrion got the role he always like.

2. Wtf was even the point of revealing that Jon snow is a targeryan? It literally did nothing for the story at all because he just ended up back north stripped of names and family.and all that bs.

It made Dany go crazy. That was the only purpose it ended up serving. You could even argue that Bran told Jon just to make Dany go nuts and torch Kings landing, leading to him being on the throne. The ending is really sloppy.

I don't understand why him being a Targ wasn't mentioned, but he wanted no part of nobility, or being king. I think taking the black was a good option for him, and when he looked back at the gate closing... He's not coming back. He's going North to live as a truly free man for once.

Story is more important to me not special effects and silly battles, both of those battles had zero military intelligence.

Best episode this season for me was episode 2, would give it an 8/10.

Yep, I enjoyed episode 2 as it was the calm before the storm and set up 'the long night' well. Pity that 'the long night' was completely underwhelming and ruined the series by undermining the entire theme of the show
