I think Gastelum is winning the fight. I think Adesanya is underestimating everyone else and Gastelum is no joke.

My 3 bets."They'll tell you failure is not an option. That is ridiculous. Failure is always an option. Failure is the most readily available option at all times, but it's a choice. I wouldn't go that far, but yeah I agree he seems a little less autistic and more confident
Besides that I might throw down on Gastelum winning, he is on a 2 fight streak, and is the perfect anti matchup to Adesanya
I mean thats an obvious matchup discrepancy but will it really play out like that? I can see Adesanya being "quicker" at first but then maybe won't stop the run through of Gastelum. Or it could be that Adesanya isn't THAT weak and can do enough damage from strikes to make it go to a decision, who in all honesty Gastelum could win too via decision if he puts the pressure on and can't finish.Last edited by KingSWRV; 04-13-2019 at 03:31 PM.

It's an interesting match-up, Gastelum is durable, hits hard, and has fought most of the best fighters at 170 and 185. Also has some wrestling (although Adesanya's tdd has looked great lately), and is actually reaching his athletic prime (27 years old) in a sport where fighters are usually 35 by the time they get some decent experience.

While I do feel like neither Gas or Israel are the best in the division, I am pretty excited for that fight.
Kind of worried Israel just side steps all night and keeps distance to a relatively boring decision, but I’m hoping Gas can get inside and light him up. I just feel Gas deserves it more; at least he beat a very game Souza. Israel has bypassed all of the killers in MW thus far and Gas is the most favorable match up for him in the top 5 (not sure on current rankings) outside of maybe Souza
I’d just hate to see Israel win and somehow land in the title spot if Whittaker has health issues just in time for Romero, Souza, Weidman, and Moose to kind of fade off, and Rockhold be at lhw
Obviously Moose is w/ Bellator but he’s an mma staple nonetheless
MW as a whole is about to fall off hard

After the dillishaw incident they're still showing commercials with him in it, very confusing

Dana White and others complain about boring wrestlers but continue to promote high profile fights for guys who can't wrestle. Self-inflicted wounds.
You inject a bunch of inexperienced kickboxers from the minor leagues and the contender series, and seasoned pros will just take them down. Get better mma fighters.
