A guy had one on CL, and I missed it, and then found another one closer and the seller eventually agreed to take $70. I had emailed BS about parts, since the first one didn't come with bolts. I figured I'd have to get new ones.
When I finally pickup up the dip unit, all that was missing was an end cap for one of the handle tubes. I email BS, they ask what part I need and my address. No more information, didn't ask for payment or proof of purchase or anything. A few days later, the cap shows up. Free, no note or anything.
What a cool company! Good dip station too, I don't have much to compare it too, but I read every review I could find.

Body Solid's customer service is remarkable. I had twice now where I needed to order parts, both times due to negligence so i fully expected to pay but they sent free of charge including free shipping.
1st time was I broke the cable on the cable machine. Was hanging extra weight on the side so fully my fault. 2nd time was (no joke) my dog ate my bench and tore all the padding out of it.Disabled Combat Veteran (11B)

I've had this exact same experience with Body Solid's customer service. I've requested/received a few replacement parts from them over the years (end caps, other small pieces). I've always been clear that I purchased the items on Craigslist and offered to pay for the parts. They've always sent them free of charge.

Good to hear! I've worked with Body Solid for 12 years and they've always been great. Particularly for a cheap part like that, management understands that it isn't worth the time it takes to collect payment info, generate a receipt, etc, for a cheap part, or to even bother looking into the original purchase information for it. Better just to send the part!
