So i was gonna use the 15% discount they offer rn but i notice that different products are sold at higher prices. For example, doctor's best was $18 and right now it is $20.34 and this is only one product.

raw material costs for many products have gone up a lot this year. couple that with bb.com finally raising their prices online after having gotten increases from brands over the past 18 months and you have higher prices.

Noticed this as well while looking to order more whey. The price of their Signature brand, which I thought was supposed to be a lower-cost/equal quality alternative, is losing its luster. Fortunately, when I went back to look, it was lowered to $39.95 for 5 pounds. Regular price used to be $49.95, now it's $5 higher. Otherwise they'd have lost a sale.
I do appreciate the fact of quick shipment, and have yet to have any issues requiring Customer Support. I understand they run sales, but since I have no idea when those are, I'm not going to pay a higher price only to see it cheaper in a few days when I can buy for less elsewhere. I don't mind a couple dollars here and there when I'm satisfied with product/service, but there's a point where that stops.
I had/have already bookmark-shopped elsewhere for identical items (other than the Signature brand), and was fully prepared to buy elsewhere. The next time I order (generally once a month), I'll price check, but bottom line is going to be the difference in where I shop.

Free shipping has been expanded. That might have something to do with the price increases. Every brand I browsed yesterday showed free shipping with orders over $59. Just a few weeks ago free shipping only applied to some of the brands carried here. I expect there to be some more adjustments to pricing and free shipping while bb.com decides what works best for them as a business.
Customer service from Bodybuilding.com is very, very good. But the reality is most people will focus on price not the great customer service when deciding where to buy.

Definitely a price hike and not really compared to other sites. But I am guessing BB.com has to have an higher imu to pay for all these other things. If they want to turn a actual decent profit.
They will price match thoughYour nutrition and workout program determines your success.

It's like grocery shopping, if there are 6 stores in town, each one is probably cheaper on one item than the rest. By the time I've driven to them all, spent gas and time doing so, what have I saved?
Which is why I've said earlier, I don't mind a couple $ here and there, and honestly I'd prefer to spend my money here as anywhere, and get everything in one shot, which I've generally been doing. I'd recently purchased 2 bottles of L-Tyrosine, exact same brand as the store here carries, and saved almost $5 ($2+ per bottle) on the 2 bottles, and shipped free.
I will pay a little extra for the convince of "one-stop shopping", but am not going to shoot myself in the foot in the process.
