I'd be willing to bet I'm a lot older than most on this forum...
First supplement I ever used was the original Phosogen by EAS, prob 1994.
I did buy a few proteins before that though and remember when Next Proteins launched Designer Whey (it was cutting edge back then), and of course the MetRx meal replacement packets.
Creatine remains one of the most kick-ass things in the supplement world!

I forgot the name of the first protein I purchased, but I do remember how chalky and what a chore it was to get down. First preworkout other than ultimate orange was NO Xplode, that was the game changer IMO

No-Xplode. That red bottle and shiny labeling got me at 16 years old. Remember arguing with everyone back in high school if it/creatine was like taking steroids (lol).
But if we are going to start a supplement nostalgia thread, I have to throw out the name: JACK3D!!!!!!!!!!!---Get those Negs ready---

Man, I was like 16 in 84, it was a Weider product, I think it was called mega mix, or mega muscle pack, or something. It was a box with 12 plastic wrapped packages and each package had like 6 pills, gel caps, and capsules in it. I have NO CLUE what it was, probably BCAAs and vitamins.
My next product was a tin can full of weider protien powder that tasted like dirt and sawdust.
When I was 18, in the army, there used to be this little health food store that sold suppliments near the base. Every payday I went there and bought the newest snake oil. The guy who owned that must have loved my naive ass...he would just pull out whatever, give me his sales pitch, and I’d buy it. I’m sure everything I bought was crap, and I had no clue in those days.

I had a buddy who got it. It came with all those guarantees...but it also came with a pamphlet with rediculously rules, like all your liquids had to be room temperature, and it basically outlined a diet to eat...in essence, the pills were snake oil and the diet plan was what would cause the weight gain.

I took these healthy n fit vitamin packs back in the 90's. I don't know what was in them, but I had crazy energy and endurance. I'm sure I probably took a bottle of ph's in the 90's too. I would just go to the supp shop and ask for something that gave me strength. My one rep max on bench skyrocketed in a short time. I never took hot stuff though, but the kids in hs were raving about it.
