From the article: "That's a major limitation, researchers say, as it's impossible to determine whether the association is due to a specific artificial sweetener, a type of beverage or another hidden health issue."
My comment : Like being obese in the first place?
"Studies" like this are a waste of time and money.

Bring it, I have bitchin' life insurance.
Short cuts to success are often paved with lies.
1/13/16: Massive hernia.
5/10/16: Finally back to lifting, light but improving.

The people who drink this chit are not to bright to begin with.
Why does anyone e get a big Mac and a large fry and then a diet drink?
I've come close to asking when I see this happening but always elect to just mind my own business.
.surely they do not think by ordering a diet drink they are at least taking one step in the right direction.?
I actually I knew a guy once who was fat and trying to lose weight and he would buy those slim fast cans.
I'd go to his house and he would open a can of it and pout it over a couple scoops if ice cream.
There is just no chance at trying to figure out what goes on inside the head of a complete idiot.

Well...it is fewer calories.
How is it not at least a step or partial step in the right direction? It's hundreds of calories extra, without refill, to get regular soda and not diet.
I'm not saying or implying that being obese and eating a big mac with super fry + diet drink for lunch is going to solve anything or get you anywhere, but let's be real...hundreds of calories fewer is hundreds of calories fewer.Last edited by Farley1324; 02-15-2019 at 05:03 AM.

Because all the sugar in real pop is so healthy to begin with. And sugar hasn't been linked to all of these health problems, and more as well...smh
These studies are a joke. I'll choose a diet drink over real pop every time, personally. It's a treat that comes with zero calories, and I genuinely don't enjoy real pop. All that sugar makes me feel disgusting, and triggers cravings (although I'm not one of those guys who thinks sugar is the devil)
Side note: if you're going to generalize people and say that they aren't too bright, you'd come across a lot smarter yourself if you used proper grammar.Squat and Deadlift
