Totally and not fair.
Very
She will be getting the political paddle from many dems, especially from NY. Now she's talking about poor working conditions. She is confusing Amazon with China. She just pulls explanations out of her ass.
I have a feeling she will keep doing what she does.

In some of AOC’s recent statements, she’s backing away from “taking credit” for Amazon leaving. She’s saying the entire thing is being misunderstood, it wasn’t her, it was “the people.”
You know you dun guf’d when you no longer want “credit” for what you said you wanted to happen.ALL I ASK IS ALL YOU GOT FOR AS LONG AS IT TAKES

The post I was responding to brought up the idea that the people that already live in the area are not qualified to do the work Amazon was bringing in. So Amazon would bring people into the area, pushing them out.
Before it was explained that the jobs would be higher level, people were complaining that the low level jobs at Amazon don’t pay enough. But if the people aren’t qualified for higher level jobs, clearly they are only qualified for lower level jobs. So they need lower level jobs, that pay MORE than lower level jobs do. BUT, they can’t pay TOO much...because that would drive up the cost of living in the area.
Make sense? (Correct answer: nope)ALL I ASK IS ALL YOU GOT FOR AS LONG AS IT TAKES

It's an image/situation that everybody understands.
The truth is that she's a 29 year old graduate who has never had a real job and like many graduates in their first job, arrives at work thinking she knows more about things than everybody else that works there, and she is going to revolutionise the industry and be running the company in 2 years.
She's young, female and non-white, so her ideas must be far more suitable for 2019 than any ideas from old, white guys.
She walked in to her first big presentation, thinking that she was god's gift, and she sh!t the bed.Screw nature; my body will do what I DAMN WELL tell it to do!

The people that live there.
I was definitely one of those punk kids who thought he had it all figured out. Now that I’m older I realize you definitely can play things “too hard and too fast.” But its extra funny to look back on things that I was totally and completely wrong about (swore I was right) and the more senior people around me just let me think I was right and simply fixed my fukups quietly. Most people do it (we took on 70 something fresh grads in september and I've seen some whoppers since then), but they are supposed to do it in a graduate entry level job in their early 20's, where they can't do too much harm. Somebody being in congress, as their first real job, has much higher consequences when they fk up.

Then he said this
"He added: “They said they wanted a partnership, but the minute there were criticisms, they walked away. What does that say to working people, that a company would leave them high and dry, simply because some people raised criticism?".

Well that's the thing bro... Take a look around - and even see how R&P libs have tried to defend it here in this very thread. They think she's just teh kewlest because she triggers conservatives. None of them - not one swinging liberal Richard anywhere can find any fux to give about the loss of those jobs.
But she's so young and fresh!"Do you think SHE actually felt like that was a sexual thing he was doing? She's like 6. Only an actual p3do would think that she thought he was groping her, too."
"Not that it's impossible to touch a minor inappropriately, but it is true that a 6 year old girl will not recognize someone putting a hand on their chest as groping, whether it is inappropriate or not."

You know what's happening here though? A continuation of that Occupy Wall Street bullshiit from 5-6 years ago. Every 20 something hipster with an art degree and $75k in student loan debt took to the streets to rage about the evils of capitalism - while drinking Starbucks coffee and carrying an Apple Iphone. They went away though eventually, but now they have somebody speaking for them in congress. "What jou tink I'm afraid of jou Amazon! GTFO we don want your stinkin jobs!"
Here you go lol..
