I was just stating something funny that happened, you OSU homo. Wasn't trying take a swing at the fans of a team that's trying to trademark the word "the," which is unbelievably stupid.


Yeah, that season was nuts. My brother was attending LSU at the time and he got 2 student section seats for the Arkansas game (that we lost because of Darren ****ign Mcfadden). We had to get them "upgraded," and the upgrade was us getting to sit in the cripple section, which is right in front of the student section but a little closer to the field. As we were leaving the stadium, I had a Bison moment; a moment of prognostication. I, not letting the depression of my shattered championship desires blind me, looked at my brother and told him, "Every team in front of us is going to lose and we'll still play in it." He called me a ****ing moron and we somberly continued on to his car. Kansas, Missouri, and West Virginia ended up losing their bowl games to allow us to beat some OSU ass.

And that's when it hit me. I am soothsayer.



**** I'm bored. I'll never have another experience like that game, man. 3OTs, over 92k people in the stadium, adrenaline, probably registering on the Richter scale, and ridiculous elation followed ridiculous depression.

It's definitely disconcerting. Aranda is such a good DC, too. I'm just hoping he's using defenses that he knows can stop opposing offenses enough to win while saving his true defense for the big daddy universities.

Actually that's true, Aranda is a good DC. Maybe it'll come around which would be scary with that offense. But I'm glad we don't miss him with Leonhard.

Yes very happy with Leonhard. In his first year the unit was 1st in the country in yards/game and 3rd (to Alabama and Clemson) in points/game.
Last year was more mediocre but was riddled with injury.
This year is back on track with only a starting safety out for the year. #1 in yards/game. #1 in points/game.

I read that Leonhard learned a ton from Aranda, so just have another guy come in and sit in on the film sessions with Leonhard to keep everything going, I guess.

to be fair we are less than a year removed from the bottom feeder that is Purdue embarrassing OSU so don't write Nebraska off completely. but I still wouldn't bet on them. lol
