sadly my 980ti and i7-4770k are not cutting it, so I had to drop another $2500 on SLI 1080tis for this game

I got some bad news brah...game basically isn't optimised for SLI. I run 2 x 1080s.

Mirin. My highest is 11, but my squad is usually in the fray mopping up my near knocks more often than not.

Yeh but you're playing on PC...it might just be here in Australia but the game is definitely on another level on PC (I guess same with other BRs). 11 kills on PC is no easy feat. Console is much easier, my brother and his mates are winning all the time on PS4 and I am a much better player.

It has it's ups and downs. Here's my two cents:

DRAWBACKS:
1) Time to kill is way too high. You have to shoot at someone for legit 10-15 seconds to kill them. I guess this promotes "teamwork", yet imo it's just a negative aspect.

3) No solos or squads. This one just speaks for itself (I think they added it? idk)

I really haven't played this game enough to fully understand how it works, but there are way too many annoying things. I'll just stick to other games for now.

I'm exaggerating here but basically no one who has actually given the game a proper go thinks the TTK is too high. Once you're used to the weapons, shields, right attachments and movement the TTK is a non-issue. I have wiped full squads multiple times now whereas when I first started I was raging about the TTK.

This game 100% will never have solos, unless they change the way the game works. Too many core mechanics rely on teamwork and getting knocked. Pinging, respawning, healing, the synergy between some mains, finishers etc. They might add 4 man squads in though.

If you haven't played the game enough to fully understand how it works then why cast judgement too early? Give it a few more hours I promise you'll get the hang of it and enjoy it more. And if you don't, well then no loss.


I'm having so much fun playing this and I don't mind playing by myself with randoms, I usually hate playing multiplayer games by myself. Getting a few more wins. Still can't crack 10 kills in a game though but I don't mind. I main lifeline but play it properly so I actually prioritise reviving if I can pull it off. Compared to the people that main lifeline just to get the quick healing haha.

The wingman needs a nerf. Surely its something you gotta get good with but the damage output is ridiculous. Was peaking through a window and a guy just spammend in there 20meters away, headshotted me and destroyed my complete purple armor with one shot. One headshot and 4 shield bars gone, might have had scullpiercer but seems OP nonetheless.

Tried the havoc today. Not a fan of the slow start up but defenitely something useful until a 301 comes around.

Put turbocharger on it and it's (in my opinion) the most powerful gun in the game right now

idk about you, but I was able to load up some Titanfall 2 settings and I went from 60FPS lowest settings to 100+ FPS at all maxed settings

seems to work pretty dang good to me, no stuttering or anything

ill be honest but this game isn't for me so im not gonna force my self to say i like it. first person br games never work, as u always get shot from the back and pretty much dead and no building is just bad. maybe im just bad but im doing horrible

Prob more of a an issue on PC due to aiming mechanics, but I wouldn't be opposed to it getting a slight nerf. It's not as game-breaking on console but anyone with decent aim can destroy you relatively quickly from any range.

Crashes seemed to be fixed for me by updating to newest driver and not running my gpu overclock when playing Apex.

I haven't been able to play since the latest update. I just rubberband the entire match now. Kind of annoyed because I was really starting to enjoy this game.

I read somewhere on the internet about this...are you able to show me how you did it? Would like to be able to run both so I don't need to lower any settings to get 100+.

I may have mis read but I think one of the devs was hinting at the fact that the skullpiercer for the wingman shouldn't be giving it so high a % boost, so it should actually be 3 headshots for a kill not 2.

Just now playing and we're one of only two squads left. Everything freezes, and my PS4 has a software error. Freezes me out for a good half minute. I can still talk to my team but it takes itself back to the home screen. Once I get back into the game, both teammates are down. I get taken out too.

Damn it. If only.

Game is very punishing compared to kiddie fortnite. I need to get used to actually using cover and playing cautiously. I'm on ps4 if any brahs want to add and drop in some games

Absolutely loving this game. Never got into Overwatch, never got into Fortnite, was pretty big into PUBG / DayZ for a while. Now this game's out and is non-kiddish, quick gameplay, solid performance and stability, and takes Battle Royale and mixes it with classes like in Overwatch.

Favorite setup at the moment is using a G7 Scout w/ Sniper Scope, and a Havoc w/ Turbo Charger. Though I'll swap out the G7 with a R-301, Swap out the Havoc with a Wingman and Skull Piercer. I'll take what I can get upon landing, but I'm especially happy if I can get those guns, or a Peacekeeper.

Should go unsaid that if the rare Mastiff or Kraber are found I'll swap out something for one of those as able.

That's less third party and more back-to-back action but good job nonetheless brah. Third party would be if two teams came at you at once or sandwiched you. That's the worst feel mayne.

I was having issues before they dropped the update. Absolutely no issues since then. I've got an RX Vega 56 8GB.

People are starting to hate on the Wingman like it's cool or something. Every streamer who gets shot by one says "oh boy we got a wingman over here, probably a team of wingmen with him."

People think the gun needs a nerf but Respawn already said they're quite happy with the balancing.

I have the Sennheiser 598SR with the boom mic and it's by far superior than most gaming headsets out there. Only downside is you need to find a good adapter

I tried so many things posted online to fix it.i have radeon card and amd cpu, I crash a lot. Its so annoying.

I mainly use mirage and lifeline.

Mirage is pretty fun, the invis is pretty good to be offensive with not just running away, people are wise to the decoys but they still distract people though.

Lifelines heal time boost is great and stacks with the backpack and the care packages are decent.

It's been confirmed that they have the same speed and stats as all other characters. Just their animation hands animation is played slower so it feels like they are indeed heavier. What I am wondering is whether it is easier to hit them - is their hitbox bigger than other characters ? They do look bigger.
