Was I the only one unaware how common sex for money is among the wealthy?

So I've been a CPA for wealthy individuals for 6 years now and over this time, I have developed pretty close friendships with a number of these people. One thing I never knew, was how common paying for sex with young men/women was. I thought this was something you only saw in porn.

The first time I heard of it was at a networking event where a divorced MILF worth about 10 million was telling me how she was sleeping with some 25 year old and paying for his BMW. After that I heard similar things all the time.

Last night I was at another networking event with a guy who owns a local chain restaurant, worth probably 50 million if he could liquidate everything. This guy is 67 years old and was telling me how he makes an offer to every hot girl that works at one of his restaurants that he will pay for their college if they're always on call to do ANYTHING with him when he wants it. I was like wut? He told me "ya. I'm not hands on, but ill stop into my restaurants every month or so, and make this offer to the cashier or whatever. Most take it.". He then proceeded to show me pics of these girls and not a single one was under an 8/10 college chick. I asked how many he was currently paying for and he said 3, one of which who is married and her husband is fully supportive of it.........


I don't know why, but this still blows my mind every time I hear about it.

They do it because it works. Prostitutes don't usually need a professional license from a state board to my knowledge, it's just a tongue in cheek term I used. I'd wager that many if not most people who have engaged in prostitution have never really advertised.
