Sucks that they changed the original Focus XT, that was a great formula.

Like most great formulas, they tend to cost more than they make I suppose :/

I personally think the new formula is an upgrade. Reduced prop blend (I say reduced because the choline complexity and tyrosine complex is a mystery), inclusion of Taurine, Theanine, Theacrine, Lutin.

Would be nice to get rid of NALT and Choline Bitartrate

Another good focus supplement I liked that have on hand is Biotest's Brain Candy, pretty convenient little shots.

Lot's of good focus products mentioned, but if you want more of an all around PWO w a strong focus, I'd recommend PES Prolific.


Edit: Vapor x mentioned above is a complete PWO as well, and I enjoyed the two samples I had.

What exactly are you looking for OP, because you mentioning Dust doesn't lead me to believe you're looking for what everyone else is thinking?


Most of the mentions ITT are for nootropic products and not preworkouts. You could always get a nootropic product and add in other ergogens (i.e. +4g l-citrulline, GMS, or etc. etc.). Are you just looking for a strong pre?

Controlled Labs Orange Brainwash (not primarily a pre workout, I sometimes add citrulline to it as a pre).

PES Prolific always seems to do a little better than you'd think looking at the label, including focus, can't go wrong

my main concern is increased focus, a good pump would also be nice. as far as energy i have never really noticed anything impressive from a pre workout. i ended up picking up some dust x to try out it was on sale for $29 at a local supplement store.

I actually knew the blend of the OG, that's why Im saddened.

It was a really good nootropic.

It got me through college. Solid solid acute effects, and shined with prolonged usage. My biggest gripe is that I wanted to know the ALCAR amount. I always kept bulk ALCAR + Focus XT on hand.

Nowadays, that much choline would give me brain fog

Definitely not recommended to stack them at full servings each. I pick one or the other based on desired amount of caffeine and add citrulline to the Brainwash

used the dust X for the first time today (1/2 Scoop) it was an off day but i wanted to try it out so i did a quick shoulders/arms/abs day. didn't notice anything crazy as far as energy (maybe a bit better endurance), pumps were pretty good, and focus was great now for a full scoop tomorrow.

I personally would suggest white flash. I find the focus to be impeccable plus you get energy, pumps, and overall increase in mood. Orange brainwash is a great premium product for focus as well and is my favourite focus formula. I use it daily.

You do feel pretty good focus from White Flash and if you would of put 200mg of L-theanine
in it instead of the 100mg (the right dosage for ALL stimulant products) then it would of
been ruined so take note other companies 100mg is ALL you need! Now if only CL could
pull 100mg of L-Theanine out of Brain Wash it would be even better.

I agree, after RPE 10 sets theanine is much appreciated when my hearts pounding and I need to relax and recoup between sets
