Been doing the keto diet for about a year (250 down to 215), and lifting weights for about 6 months. I am pleased with the results. Tuesday I came down with the flu, and started taking Tamiflu. I feel pretty horrible.
I weigh myself every morning. In the last 48 hours I've lost 6 lbs. 48 hours is about as long as I've had the flu. I might be getting 1000 cals a day, for the last 2 days.
Question: Is the weight I'm losing mostly water (very runny stools 4x a night), fat or muscle? I'm maintaining a low carb diet while I have the flu.

Whatever you do, please do not go to the gym and spread it.
Stay home, rest, drink lots of fluid and eat well until you recover.
I see some people at the gym sneezing, coughing and cleaning their hands on the equipment. Not fair on others.
Even if you carry a sweat towel, you can still spread it.
One guy at the gym told me he had flu, rubbed his nose and extended his hand for me to shake. Nope.
Get well soon.
All the best.
