Paul Harrell really annoyed me for the first couple videos.

Morning, MFC. Last few nights I've been driving gravels on my way home. They are solid sheets of ice. I can't express how awesome my Silverado does with the BFG K02 tires. I will buy those tires as long as they keep making them. I would put my rig up against anyone's on Blump's Driveway.

Well crap, thought I had read the A3 was good to go out a lot further than that, and that it was the DBAL-I2 or whatever that was more limited to the 100ish yards or less range. May have to give the D2 or the Perst-3 a harder look now. Where I'd be shooting is definitely a lot more open ground, so going past 100 would be ideal.

Should I build my G45 in to a full on Roland or leave it as is? And what barrel/comp should I get for it if so?

My friend that's up here for school.
He served 10 years with the seals & is just in the reserves now. He's been helping me with my target practice.
He gave me the hardest time in the world about that S & W. He said the reason they don't care them in the field is because they aren't reliable.
But, we have so many limitations on our firearms up north that I don't wanna spend too much. No conceal carry, can't have barrels smaller then a certain length. No suppressors, so you get to lose your hearing.
I also don't wanna spend too much because if they pass the new firearms bill. It'll ban any scary looking gun.Make America Great Again Crew

Your friend being a seal doesn't mean jack **** in regards to him being knowledgeable about firearms or knowing what he's talking about in regards to why the military does or doesn't use something.
Vast majority of the time they will buy what they can get cheapest. Bottom line.

I don't hate them. I simply don't think they're the only option for a good, reliable gun anymore. Being in the industry, we see that more and more people are finally realizing this. Even people who used to be as big or bigger Glock fanboys as I was are moving on to other pistols. And a lot of people are getting tired of the same damn gun with a new number or letter on the side being blown out of proportion as some ground breaking new gun.
And the 2.0 IMO has considerably nicer grip texture and ergos. Not to mention potential for a trigger that absolutely blows the Glock away.

No carry sucks, for sure. But the other two points shouldn't really matter for range/home. What's the barrel length requirement? In terms of suppressors, I've never even considered that on a handgun. I'm sure you can still buy electronic ears if you're worried about your hearing but still want to know what's going on around you.

The M&P 2.0 is a great gun and I shot it pretty accurately. I've pushed my mom to get one assuming she gets training.
I still like my Glock 19 but it appears to be a 'starter' gun for most. I've modded it and tricked it out a bit which has been a fun experience. Like you said Glock isn't the ONLY manufacturer that makes a great firearm. I've been impressed by CZs a lot too.A hit was sent, from the President, to raid your residence /

Plenty of Provincial, Regional and City Police in ON carry M&P2.0’s. Not sure what the RCMP carry.
There won’t be a ban. The Canadian firearms community is steamrolling any gun ban initiatives right now. It’s more united and vocal than ever, and there is a clear trend that young Canadians want to be armed, with the participation in PAL courses, how profitable the firearms retailers have become (Cabelas, Sail, Basspro, not to mention the hundreds of independent brick and mortar and/or online retailers moving hundreds of thousands of firearms per year, maybe millions). Bill Blair is getting eviscerated and the Libs are in the midst of a huge scandal.
Australia won’t happen here.
In the unlikely event a ban took place there would be mass non compliance and the logistics, funding and security risks of confiscating everyone’s guns would be a massive political flashpoint.
There are over 1 MILLION reatricted firearms, probably more. The vast majority of firearms are non restricted.
Imagine having to confiscate 12 million guns in the second largest land area country, mainly rural/untamed nation with rough terrain and people that won’t roll over and a police force that would likely not support it.
Tearing up a little how proud I am of My Country here.
Outside of the US we are by far the most friendly to private ownership of firearms. We have quite a lot of work to do, but we’re stronger than ever.
There is tons of MONEY behind the firearms community - people willing to invest thousands, sometimes hundreds of thousands, into their sport/hobby/collection. We congregate online, at gun ranges, hunting camps, fish and games, and community centres, as well as online more than ever. We are FRIENDS and FAMILY.
Who are the gun grabbers? Friends and family? Are they putting up their own money, not a foundations money, to support their cause? Are they organic or are they shills? They aren’t grassroots and have no community. They are rootless or virtue signalling city dwellers that, when push came to shove, back down. The real threat are the ultra elite trying to usher in a disarmed populace. These people have been beaten back so badly in the US, they’ve lost the war completely. It’s time for us to defeat them the same way in Canada.

In an open letter published Monday, CEOs for Dick’s Sporting Goods, Levi Strauss & Co., TOMS and RXR Realty called on Congress to criminalize the private transfer of firearms.
Not hipster enough these days. Gotta be different than everybody else, and Glock is still generally more common on the range and at classes than everything else combined

I hear this argument a lot. I think it's mostly people trying to give themselves a security blanket over the thought of having their firearms taken away. Honestly either in Canada or the US, it could easily happen.
They don't need to confiscate anything to effectively destroy gun ownership. Ban their possession and use. Suddenly there's no ranges to practice. There's nobody selling ammo or reload supplies. Yeah, if someone breaks into your home you may still have a firearm to stop them, but you do so knowing that you're going to jail for murder, or at least for a felony firearm charge.
MOST (like 95%+) gun owners are protecting their well being, their family's well being, and their family's way of life with their weapons. Flip it so that gun ownership (or at least gun use) will destory all of that, and the community of pro-gun people will get very, very small.
This is why protecting gun rights tooth and nail is important. It's not going to be the civil war scenario people think. Most gun owners have too much to lose.480s / 370b / 495d / 235 x 2 SOHP

This is my third Sig. They just fit my hand better than most other guns, and I still really do trust their classic models (I got a 226). I'll be honest, I'm not sure I'd buy a 320 or 365 or anything "new" from them, but I love their traditional platforms. I'm a DA/SA guy and that limits things a bit. I MIGHT have considered a CZ with custom work, but most of their CA legal models don't have a decocker, and hell no to that.

Imagine you don't have to confiscate them. You just start making them illegal one category at a time, most folks will turn them over rather than risk randomly being discovered and taken to prison on a case by case basis.
Does it matter if they confiscate your illegal gun when you can no longer use it for anything without going to prison? Oh what's that somebody broke into your home with a knife and said they were going to rape your daughter after they stabbed you? Too bad that gun has been banned, off to prison for you.
But they didn't confiscate everybody's so it's okay eh?
