So tried to look up some information only difference i found was vitamins and Gi value
peanuts = 14
and a [+2/-2 ]slight difference in mono/poly fats
one site said...

meal consisting of
"3 test meals (almonds and bread, parboiled rice, and instant mashed potatoes)" vs a "bread control meal"
So if money is an issue
where peanuts cost 2$lb
so is it a big deal to just eat peanuts? or does it matter what diet your on, for instance im on the game over cut diet.
