Went to the championship parade today. It was insane how many people came out for it.

What a pleasant surprise! I forgot (or didn't even know) I had this little sample, I was looking for a new razor cartridge and noticed the little yellow tootsie roll wrapper in the far back of a bathroom drawer - lo and behold, Astor!

This smells like something Captain Genderbender depaulwifi would thoroughly enjoy. The florals punch you square in the face, so much so that I have a hard time believing this is a gender neutral fragrance in ANY way. This is 90% female! It smells very synthetic and "medical" to my nose, I dont get any citrus or woods or anything other than a screaming loud bouquet of flowery depaulhifiness. Not a fan so far, but I'll stick it out.

Holy ****, it was amazing and epic. Never seen that many people in one place. Hope you didn't get caught up in the stampedes that happened. I was luckily at Bay/Dundas when the crowd started running north on Bay from Queen, and didn't get caught in the thick of it.

Got back recently from a few weeks in Asia, looked all over for YSL La Nuit EDP, but didn't see it at any duty free!

So Creed re-issued Angelique Encens from the vault...got a bottle coming in via a friend of a friend in Paris . It has always been on my watch list along with Creed Cuir de Russie. Anyone try it yet?

Welcome back brah. Ive tried Angelique Encens and love it. Im not usually a fan of angelica (didnt like Angelique Noir) but it is not a prominent to me in this one. It also has a beautiful creamy incensy base. Good stuff, not loud, but it lasts a long time. I got a sample a few weeks back, and stopped by the boutique in ny last week but they are sold out. They are "expecting 20 bottles" or so in August. It is good stuff. How much is it in Paris?

Thoughts on Parfums de Marly Layton? Theres a 20% sale on it and wondering if its Worth the blind buy since I need a new Winter fragrance (Sauvage edp didnt work on me)

No way, I was in NYC on Thursday and Friday last week. Missed the game 6 celebrations in Toronto. Didn't stop by the boutique though. Great to hear your thoughts. I'm worried that it might be too dated and unwearable. I bought it blind. It's much less, around $300 but might be sold out too.

Layton is good but let me give you a pro tip : Alexandria Fragrances "Royal Equestrian" is the Layton clone and it smells identical. IDENTICAL.

I had a 7.5ml decant of the blue one and an unopened bottle i got from fragrancebuy when they had some crazy promotion. I pretty much went through the 7.5ml and decided it wasnt FBW for me. This past weekend, i decided to get a sample of the Parfum from Neiman and test it for a bit and it is so much better than the full bottle to me. Lasts all day and doesnt have that grapefruit blast that bothered me in the Parfum Cologne. I sold my BNIB blue bottle, and I am def on the hunt for a deal on a bottle of the Parfum now.

Fortune & Mason, O the Exclusive or Black Tier. I love Black Tier but the patch comes on a bit strong sometimes. I’m getting a decant of O to compare as I hear they’re similar. Fortune & Mason just looks juicy, trying to find a sample somewhere.

I have a 75ml bottle of PdM Layton that's about 90% remaining. I like the scent but after a few months I don't feel nearly as compelled to wear it as other stuff in my cabinet. Happy to pass it on for a good price if anyone here wants it.

Wearing Naughty Fruity again today.

Been experimenting to test the performance on this. My first wearing saw pretty decent performance, but it seems like I haven't been getting anything out of it after that. Not sure if it's just me and I need to give it a break or what. Thought to try something new today, and just sprayed a little on my chest to see if I can earn the projection while hitting chest. That didn't seem to work too well. Really dig the fragrance though. The style suites me well and is very enjoyable for me.

Yea i cant do patch that well. I think the leather bothers me in BT a bit. I have a discovery atomizer and that's more than enough for me. PM me you add and i can try to send you a sample of F&M. I know your are in canada but its worth a shot. I think its a bit redundant if you have Kuwait and/or Qatar.
