I don't think I'm going to get much sympathy here on this one but here goes. I've been trying to get up to 250 lbs, currently 242 and am finding that I am having a hard time keeping up with my metabolism. I feel like I physically cannot eat as much food as I need to put weight on lately. I'm one of the few 40 year olds with a high metabolism. Anyway, I was just wondering if anyone knows any ways to stimulate the appetite. I eat every 2 hours or so, although not big meals, and get up to eat at about 2 AM. Sorry if I've P.O.'d anybody, as I know most of us older folks are exactly the opposite of me.

welllllllllllll, you could always get some of that stuff folks our age use to smoke when they were teens and 20's that tends to make you horny, hungry and sleepy.....
I never smoked any in my teens and 20s. I would like some now, though. Got any? LOL"For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind." 2 Timothy 1:7

What I have beend doing is inbetween my protein meals that are every 2 hours is to eat some kind of fruit on the off hours and It's been working great so far. Up from 202 to 213 in about 6 weeks. Goes something like this:
7:30 Protein
9:30 Protein
10:30 Apple
11:30 Protein
12:30 Apple
1:30 Protein
2:30 Bananna
3:30 Protein
Above times are give and take 15 min to 1/2 hour
Then go to work out... Hope this helps. If at first you don't succeed, take 5 pounds off and try again...
