    I finally did it

    As of 11/27 (yesterday), I've finally hit x2 BW squat. I'm about 5'5" ~140lbs and hit a 1RM of 285. Now trying to reach 315...

    That is a beast lift, you get very low to the ground and your form is good. One thing i'd watch out and this probably only happened because you were maxing out is your knee position on the way up. Your knees are excellent on the way down, but then they bend inward when you are pushing on the way up. Keep those knees pointing outward and really use those glutes to push upwards. This was a hard concept for me to grab also, so I started training with a hip circle resistance band. I put it right above my knees and the band forces my knees inward, so I am actively pushing out against my the band to make sure my knees are outward and not in.

    Thanks man. Yeah, I felt my knees buckle inwards... so I didn't try weight any higher lol.
