Helicopter crews don't fly in bad weather. Some do like the Coast Guard who risk their lives to save others in potentially deadly situations, but most do not, and Marine One does not.

As far as not having a pre-planned and pre-prepped ground route and motorcade ready to go as backup, yeah I'll admit that's a problem but is not likely a problem having anything to do with Trump himself. Either that backup is ready to go beforehand or it's not. It's not something that can be done on a moment's notice due to major logistical issues and it's not something that a president is involved in directly.

A great many things surrounding the president are 'just taken care of' without personally and directly involving the president in them in any way. The president already has way too many things on their plate, so as a rule certain things like security and logistics are simply taken care of by Secret Service and staff without bothering the president with extraneous info. When the president takes a motorcade, most of the time it's all taken care of and the president just is brought to it for his ride when that time comes. With that said, if someone screwed up and didn't properly plan this motorcade then action should be taken because it obviously and honestly is a bad deal all around and looks bad and disrespects our American heroes. Nothing like that should happen again. A backup motorcade should always be ready and normally is if the helicopters can't fly.]

Because Obama INCREASED troop levels in Afghanistan, didn't "leave" Iraq until (2011 and we still literally have 5k troops there RIGHT NOW), increased drone strikes in foreign countries, got us BACK involved in Libya, supported Al-Qaeda in Syria, actually ordered the killing of an American citizen, didn't close Gitmo, and lord knows what else I am forgetting. So, it's possible he was literally responsible for their deaths. Literally. But at least you see that it goes both ways.
