I wish we had it here; I moved out of CO just over a month ago, and apparently I missed the deadline to register through the DMV. The DMV, naturally, didn't bother to tell me this when I was registering to vote there - so I also missed the deadline to register at the elections office.

Also... Beto up by 79 votes in the last update from CNN. Gonna be close.

So, uh, at least I can console myself with the knowledge that I wouldn't have affected the inevitable outcome one way or the other. :P

Rick Santorum called them out that Dems had all the media, out spent Reps by a significant margin, and the fact that historically mid terms favor the opposing party. All the liberal panel agreed...the results so far are a failure for Dems.

Its a sign of changing times when someone like O'Rourke can even be a contender in Texas let alone come close to victory. The only positive sign for republicans is that it might serve as a wake up call, which is small consolation considering how apathetic American voters typically are.

I think if Beto somehow wins, while yes it will serve as wake-up call to Texas, I am willing to believe it will have had just as much to do with Cruz losing a lot of support over the past few years, which directly led to apathy in Texas. I can just picture a lot of Texans not voting because A) didn''t think Beto had a shot and B) not fans Cruz, so weren't particularly inclined to vote. Always less motivation from those who support the incumbent candidate.

I'm liberal and I dislike Joe Manchin. Dude is seemingly unbeatable for no reason. Democrats and Republicans alike don't like him. How his name brand is strong enough to continuously skirt getting outvoted is beyond me.
