If i remember correctly, the bostonrockets guy and i got into it. It was pumping one day and we happened to catch the top. Think it was ~60 cents back then.

Somehow i got out of it without a loss, but he held on longer. Crazy what would have happened if we just held - that was prob 2 years ago

I have found there is not much difference in speed between sending any coins to an exchange, BTC actually seems the quickest, wether its ETH, ZEC, XTZ. BTC is the fastest for me or close too.

Scalability doesn't matter for a SOV. Higher TPS, or velocity doesn't impact the value of the asset in any case. The increase demand gained from higher TPS has negligible impact on the supply (i.e. the cumulative time from the assets being removed from the supply due to the additional demand is negligible).

Privacy - You want commercial adoption yet you want privacy, a bit hypocritical don't you think? It looks like you are just finding as many arguments against BTC as possible.

No fully, private or anonymous cryptocurrency will see commercial adoption at this point in time. Japan (crypto friendly country) has introduced regulations against privacy cryptos and the exchanges have already begun delisting Monero, ZEC etc. No merchant would accept privacy crypto in a country that has regulations against it for fear of persecution.

Why would any country want to adopt a crypto they can't track allowing potentially millions of merchants to side step tax obligations?

Can't be manipulated? - BTC is by far the most decentralised cryptocurrency out there with a hashing power that dwarfs any other. It is also by far the largest in volume. Any other cryptocurrency right now is far more prone to manipulation because it is easier to buyout a significant portion of the supply, fund a 51% attack or find a loophole/bug in the many ****ty consensus mechanisms that haven't been tested to the scale or duration BTC has experienced.

Peter Thiel is an investor and super excited about it apparently (he owns tokens and is not an equity investor, only coinbase is an equity investor). Also has coinbase as seed investors same as matic which has done very well.

The head CEO seems decently honest too from the way he speaks.
