The black troy plates,will there be any sitewide "black friday" deal on BF to get the prices lower or is that the BF price on those 20% plates. I already have them in my cart but don't want to kick myself for not waiting 2 days and there being a better deal

Fit, finish and accuracy are the main reasons people don't like them. Fit will increase noise/banging a little. Finish may just be that they aren't all that pretty and accuracy is the main concern. Weight them, mark the actual and make sure you balance them out so that you have the same amoutn of actual weight on each side. The flip side is that you can return them if there are issues and if it does get close to 50 cents per pound you can get most of that back if you want to upgrade.

Thank you for this review. I did end up picking them up and the finish is definitely poor. I haven't weighed them yet but will do that to see if there are any major concerns.

Fitness gear 45 and 35 plates are smaller in diameter than normal plates so if you're DLing with them, you're pretty much doing a deficit DL FYI

i have them and bought them but only use them for bench press and squats - i have other plates i originally had but i needed more weight just because the FG was cheap and i had weight posts i bought for 5 for 5 last year lol

All sounds like good reasons for more weights to me. I can see trying to sell these down the road but as long as they aren't too far off on weight they'll do for now. Will definitely note the diameter difference for DLs.

So far I hit up Titans VIP Black Friday sale(15% off everything) and picked up the 1.25lb change plates with the adjustable box squat.
Side note: I live an 1.5hrs away from Columbus and Rogues version, with shipping, would have cost $40.00 and the Titans were $16. Insane..FOR 1.5LB CHANGE PLATES!).

I also took advantage of Strength Shop USA's sale and got 40% off of a new leverbelt + a buffalo bar, and 10% off a shirt l, knee sleeves and some chalk balls.

Nothing too outrageous.

While I know the Duffalo bar is no doubt a better and different barbell, at $600 vs $150 there's literally no way I can justify that price. Honestly, I think the starting point of that bar should be $300ish before I'd bite.

I saw those and I feel the same way, don’t know what you are truly going to receive and I have read at other sites some knurling is almost non existent and some will shred your hands. I can’t take that chance.
