a watered down version of this has happened to me at every "luxury" building i've lived in. Even had a chic ask the doorman "does he live here"....even after she saw me open the security door with my FOB.

I didn't see her do anything to suggest her actions were based on the guy being black. How is everyone so sure she wouldn't have done the same thing to anyone else she didn't recognize as a tenant of the building regardless of race? If anything the guy should have just shown her proof that he lives there and thanked her for trying to prevent random people from entering and that would have been the end of it. He must feel great about her losing her job over this.

If I'm the guy in this situation. I'm annoyed. But I say I understand safety concerns and the building policy. I go back, swipe my badge, then introduce myself to my neighbor.

You're annoyed, but you make a friend and you don't **** up someone elses life for no good reason. The woman lost her job over this. Absurd. SJW gone wrong again.

If some robber or rapist had been let in the building and they saw her on camera letting him in, what then?

While he was piggy backing off her entry with her keyfob I certainly wouldn’t care enough to cause this type of scene.

These two people needed each other though. She wants to seem like a hero holding her ground for her apartments rules and he is happy as a pig in **** to record himself looking like a victim.

If the apartment is concerned about people piggyback into the building they can hire security.

It's your job as a tenant to not undermine their security systems in place by letting people in who don't have the keycard to get in.

So in your mind its more reasonable to think that some guy is just waiting to piggyback into a building with an old or expired fob than for him to simply have his fob and not want to wait for the door to close to have to open it again? LOL ive lived in these types of building for hte last 8ish years and have NEVER seen someone coming in at the same time as another person wait to have the door close and then use their fob to open the door. And ive only seen certain types of ppl questioned during this type of event.

You probably also think she would have done the same vigilante act to a white guy too lol......Do you really thimk she would have followed some white guy all the way up to his room, then call the cops on him like she did to the guy?
This kind of thing has personally happened to me many a time.......my white friends, never (according to them at least). Hell some didnt even believe me til they were with me and something similar happened.

As she has said, he tried to walk in behind her without using his key. She challenged him as the condo complex has told her to. She followed him until it became clear that he had a key to an apartment there and then she went away. He tried to make this about him being black and being racially profiled and spread his narrative all over the internet. But the truth is, she was just being a good condo tenant and not putting others at risk.

Says the condo complex and the agreement you signed when you became a tenant. You can be found civily liable for any theft or damages that occur as a result of your negligence.
