So much winning.
President Trump is set to headline a rally with Texas Sen. Ted Cruz next week. But tickets went within minutes and the demand was still so high that the rally had to be moved to a much larger venue
At first, the rally was planned for the 8,000-seat NRG Arena. But Brad Parscale, Trump's campaign manager, said Thursday that the rally has been moved to the Toyota Center, home of the NBA's Houston Rockets. That venue holds up to 19,000 people.
"Response for tickets to #MAGA rally #Houston Mon 10/22 has been HUGE and unprecedented! This will be an epic rally, so we’re moving to @ToyotaCenter. Want to make sure everyone coming knows the venue changed!" Parscale wrote on Twitter.

Some had mocked Trump's choice of NRG Arena after the president in August vowed to hold a rally at "the biggest stadium in Texas we can find."
"I'm picking the biggest stadium in Texas we can find. As you know, Ted has my complete and total Endorsement. His opponent is a disaster for Texas -- weak on Second Amendment, Crime, Borders, Military, and Vets!" Trump tweeted last month.
"A Trump campaign aide, insisting he not be quoted by name, took issue with questions about whether the rally site falls short of the expectations the president set," the Dallas Morning News reported.
"The suggestion that we didn't book the largest venue available is erroneous, as we sought other locations for the day that early voting begins in Texas on October 22, but they were not available in Houston," this aide said by email. "We will try to accommodate as many people as possible and also provide viewing for the overflow crowds that always accompany our rallies."
Democrats are making a big play for Texas. Cruz's opponent is Rep. Beto O'Rourke, who has drawn national attention and pulled in some $68 million in fundraising last quarter. Still, most polls show him down by at least 7 points and as many as 12.
Trump and Cruz have had a contentious relationship, with the president labeling Cruz "Lyin' Ted" during the 2016 presidential campaign. Yet Trump knows he'll need every last Republican to win in November if the GOP hopes to maintain control of the Senate.

No one rallies people like Trump. Scores of people line up just to hear him talk chit for hours about being the GOAT.
If we’re actually counting concerts and celebrity venues as “rallies”, the 2nd largest “rally” was Hillary Clinton’s right before she lost the election, with Bon Jovi, the Obama’s and a bunch of other celebs.
I’m not even a fan of Teddy Booger Eater but I’ll launch all the Cruz missiles before voting for some fake Hispanic guy skateboarding into rallies. The pandering is beyond Hillary’s hot sauce and pocket Quran purse. What a loser.
Beto O’Rourke Isn’t Running for Senate Anymore
With defeat in Texas likely, the Democratic rising star eyes 2020.
Just LOL media has already written him off.Last edited by Vito-C; 10-19-2018 at 10:12 AM.
