How Is Powerlifting Better Than Bodybuilding?

Alan Thrall, Silent Mike, Jonnie Candito, Scot Mendelson, and Jason Blatard. None of these guys look like they lift despite lifting for many years.

I know there are some jacked powerlifters but everyone who lifts for money and professional athletes in general are on steroids. Most drug free powerlifters I've seen looked like the 5 guys I just named.

Seriously, what's the point in lifting a bunch of plates and still look like an average joe? I don't understand that mentality.

Fukin stupid. Imagine telling someone you've been lifting for 6 years yet not looking like you lift a weight. Not to mention there's no money in the sport, at least boxers and whatnot are getting a bit of money. Such a joke of a sport. And don't even get me started on the form, the exorcism bench arch, sumo deadlifts etc

I know. Most powerlifters aren't even in good shapes. Powerlifting is just like golf. It doesn't require you to be in good shape, which is why you see so many fat grandpas playing golf.

It's also funny how powerlifters always say you have to lift in strict forms and use full range of motion when most of the lifts powerlifters perform are partial movements.

All those guys are huge and clearly muscular. They're all just different levels of also being fat, although Silent Mike is pretty good, his problem is his height. Normal people walking up to Alan Thrall, he'd look like a big motherfuker.
