We own Keurigs, you hippie. Now granted our method generates 10 times the solid waste that would be generated from a standard drip brewer and most of that waste isn't recyclable, but God gave us K-cups and I'll be damned if I ruin my entire day by taking time to set the kettle and boil water.

I own a kettle. I use it to boil water and then let it cool before pouring the water into a big ass glass jar to be used as my drinking water.

I own a kettle but seldom use it. I'll use it for tea or making the wife/kid hot chocolate in the winter on occasion, but that's about it. I'm not a big enough coffee snob to put more effort into making it than using the drip coffee maker or Keurig.

You could literally use a Keurig as an automatic kettle dispensing individual 4oz.-10oz. servings of hot water to put tea bags into. You can also buy reusable Keurig cups you put your own coffee grounds into to save on plastic waste and money a thousand times over.
