How do all you body beautiful people spend an end of Summer holiday weekend?

I am going to work some. Do some yard work and stuff around the house. Probably take my Family out for a nice meal somewhere. (all in a speedo)

Calling for an 80-90% chance of rain all damn weekend here and we don't need it as there is massive flooding in quite a few areas. So basically if it rains all my plans are shot to hell.

What's the difference between a porcupine and a BMW? On a porcupine, the pricks are on the outside!! KIDDING!!! BMW's are great cars to drive. Indeed, they are driving machines. I have friends with Beemers, and I did drive a 7 Series a friend owned (Whatever the big sedan is) Amazing car! Enjoy yours! Which one do you drive?

Lol....where I live, Mercedes drivers are MUCH worse. I think the dealership around here insists that customers have a stratospheric douchebag quotient before they will even allow a test drive. Non-@ssholes get escorted off the lot by security.

TBH I did not like going to any of these dealerships, and talking to these folks, found it stressful. Luckily the guy who sold me my car was a younger fella who enjoyed sitting around and talking about cars...their inner workings, and showing off the tech stuff..I am surprised he didn't wear mechanics overalls to the office. The others were just a little too big city "polished"...slick.

I'll be working some of it. I have a few clients here and there. Otherwise, just getting stuff down around the house /working on a few projects and will spark the grill and make some burgers.

At least 2 hours in the pool each day if it is sunny. Enjoying the last 2-3 weeks of pool life before closing it up for the year. Probably going to be some college football watching tomorrow.

Inventing compound lifts using household items, driving too much, practicing my profanity, and moving the contents of a workshop and house. Somehow I'm ending this summer with 3 mortgages and a rented workshop so I need to get to flipping.

We took today off for an extra long weekend. We had a marathon gym sesh, ran some errands, came home, cleaned up, went for a nice lunch, Mr Flexy emailed his staff and told them all to go home early, then came home and bbq'd some beef ribs and sat on the patio.

Off to Niagara Falls tomorrow for a romantical weekend and lots of fun.

    Life is awesome!

My weekend will be spent with a plumber and contractors. We have a big water damage claim we're trying to take care of.

Sounds like you've already made the claim. Good luck with it. I know it's alot of work. (To all who read this, any homeowner claim you make, read your policy first. It's technical, but it will help you word your claim in the best way possible to avoid coverage exclusions.)

I had the pleasure of enjoying a Cohiba a couple times on Caribbean islands. (No speedo. ) They are great. I dipped the tip in rum a bit. They are tasty enough to inhale a few of the early draws. Enjoy.

I'd think you'd have at least 2-3 weeks of pool time left where you are. I know you have one of the longest, prettiest Fall seasons in the Country.

I just looked this vehicle up. Very nice. Looks tight and fast, which is a fun combination. I've been considering a BMW. Like, more than I ever have before. I bought a pickup truck recently, which I really like. Do they make a Beemer pickup?

For my next vehicle, I've been thinking about the Ford Bronco, which is supposed to come out in 2020. I don't know. Cars today are really amazing compared to what alot of us here remember owning not too long ago.

Nice! The wife and I spent a day there last week. As usual I embarrassed the wife... this time by going around the local shops asking if they sell barrels.

    Enjoy your visit!

Unfortunately they don't make trucks...but this thing is a beast! It's a 4.4 twin turbo V8 with 567 Hp 553 ft lbs of torque. It goes 0-60 in 4 seconds, which is stupid fast for a 7000 lbs vehicle. It seems faster than my NSX, although we haven't lined them up yet!

We need another truck right now, so I'm looking at getting another Tundra TDR PRO.
