Bullchit. As an example, both sides mentioned training as the key reason for the outcome of Buster Douglas - Tyson fight. Prime undefeated Tyson thought he was so good that he could get away with bullchit training while Douglas trained better than he ever had for that fight and wrecked Tyson.

By all accounts, Connor has been training harder than he ever has. He is also training for Khabib, bringing in chechen sparring partners to practice dealing with that dagestani/chechen wrestling/grappling style khabib has. He is building a strategy for khabib and training for it. Khabib is doing khabib. You dont think this gives Connor an edge?

If he can’t he probably will get KOd in first two rounds. If it goes past that Conor probably loses. I feel Conor will wait for the first distance close and KO Khabib clean. If Khabib gets a hold of any part of Conor he is in a world of hurt for the round. You don’t just learn wrestler in 2 months. The only thing he should be focused on is staying as far away from Khabib as he can until he’s ready for a counter on the distance close.

The last time I was this hyped for a fight was the rematch with Diaz and it delivered. This is two totally different style fighters who nobody can touch in their style. I personally hope Khabib rapes him btw.

But I wasn't trying to infantilize Rose which people here accused me of in the past. I was defending her during the Joanna rivalry because I just hate bullies and want to see them get theirs. And she did get hers, twice. I hope she gets beaten a third time then out of the title hunt for good in Rose's weight class.

I don't know though. There's people in the public eye with mental illness. It affects people from all walks of life. I've followed Rose enough and from what I know about her life story, sounds rough and like she's still a little off in the head. I wouldn't doubt this could shake her.

Thats what im saying though. I dont mean that he is training to outwrestle khabib but to deal with him rather. Evading, keeping distance, avoiding takedowns successfully. By “he might surprise on the ground” I mean in terms of avoiding getting obliterated like everyone expects, not outwrestling khabib.

The way i look at it is i'm 6ft 200lbs and i wouldn't be scared of a manlet like Conor (yes he'd probably KO me right away, but i still wouldn't be scared of him)

but fuc fighting Khabib, he is a legit scary dude.. imo. He has a stare that looks like he is going to take your soul, and i've never seen another fighter with a stare like his except a young Mike Tyson.

Of course Conor still has every chance of getting the KO so this should be a great fight... if it goes ahead.

What happens to so many Champions is they are no longer hungry and they get into that celebrity lifestyle and it's party party and living in the limelight. He got all that money and all from the Mayweather boxing match and just seemed like he DGAF anymore. That kind of focus is hard to maintain with all that distraction. McGregor doesn't have anything to prove really, he'd done it all. Khabib seems to have that hunger and still a lot to prove. I'll say he's worthy of getting the fight and would be worthy to beat him. I agree, physically, and capability wise, but do you think he has the drive, the dedication, the hunger? I'm rooting for him, and he's my favorite, don't get me wrong. I'm just wondering if his heart is in it? He kind of walked away well over a year ago. No doubt potent, he's got other pro fighters running and hiding taking out restraining orders against him. conor for sure is a machine and can inflict a ton of damage. i think i'll all come down to his gas tank. if he can stand the heat and keep the kicks up till the end and stop any takedowns he has a great shot. not sure how he'll do on the ground if he gets taken there
