If you wake up on your own then it should be enough, but more would be better.

Right now i am lucky to get 7 hours of sleep. After football season is over (2 weeks), i will try to get 9 hours. Just make the most of it man. Your gains wont be as good though, IMO.

Sleep depends on the individual. Many people oversleep and then feel groggy. I go to bed at 12 and get up at 6 to go to the gym. I feel if I sleep more than that then i am tired the rest of the day. Just experiment and see how you feel.

well actually I feel tired because I bust my ass off, when I wake up, I go run, and then go straight to the gym, and then eat like a pig . I'm in college my days are empty.

shouldnt feel tierd all the time. Thats not a good thing. Unless you have diabetes it is not normal. Lots of people "bust their ass in the gym" that has little to do with it. 10 hours sleep is most likely too much, hence the feeling tierd.

i'm tired all of the time.

I think it's cause of waking up all the time in the night.

I wake up like every few hours, then go back to sleep right way. But it's broken, so maybe i don't get the deep REM sleep i need, so i'm always tired?

Been like this for months, i feel like i'm really dizzy and hazy all of the time, like i'm always drunk. It's hard to concentrate and and motivation.

I've had blood tests and a urine test, came through. I was training super hard for a while, so i took almost 2 weeks off, still the same, maybe i slept a LITTLE better, i'm back at the gym now, but i'm gonna try and go lighter, see if it helps.

    any ideas?

sounds like it might be stress related. who knows?! try some melatonin maybe that might help.
as for the question sleep until u naturally wake up. this should be between 6-10 hours. get a nap in during the day if u feel tired

it does depend on the person. some ppl cant sleep 8 hours and 6 or 10 hours is better for them, 8 is just the reccomended.

the key is a schedule...sleeping 8 hours every night is one thing...
but i find i always feel better if I go to bed and get up near the same time everyday.

Try to go to bed like 15 minutes earlier and do that until that becomes "normal" to you, and keep knocking 15 minutes off.Until you get to the amount of sleep you want.
