Tried for a 345 at a bw of 153.5-154 after a 315x5 set. I’ll get the 315x5 vid up when I’m home. Shouldn’t have done 315 for 5 and I’d have hit 345 for sure. Would’ve been a +5 lb pr at this bodyweight

I don’t do too well above 335 for reps yet I don’t think. When I hit 315x8 or 335x6 back when I was mid 180s-190 I barely hit 365 on my IG
Goal is to hit 365 at this weight in a few months tho
High bar trying to go deep yeah. Haven’t learned low bar correctly yet. Definitely looked like it but that chit was crushing me. I am 100 percent positive I’d have hit it if I did 315 for a single or double instead of 5

Yep, tonight's failure only told me that I can hit that chit easy in a few days after some rest. Also told me I need to set the pins one notch down lower because I literally am doing a bit of a mini-calf raise to get the weight out.

pull the bar into your back (like really pull into your back) and slow your descent down a bit. you won't get much of a bounce as before but it'll be easier to control the weight. also let the weight settle before going for another rep.
