I don't get some of you guys. You actually want these illegal immigrants and their kids to just waltz into our country and take advantage of our welfare systems, resources, and other advantages? What about all the other families waiting patiently in line, earning their status and citizenship though proper LEGAL channels? How is it fair to them? What incentive does any LEGAL immigrant have if someone just hops through the border and starts crying boohoo tears and demanding the right to stay because their illegal actions are going to tear their family apart?

An example has to be made out of someone or some people in order to create change.
Sometimes drastic times call for drastic measures. I doubt Trump enjoys this policy, but sometimes hard decisions have to be made. This is why being a President is such a stressful job.
Maybe illegals will think twice before jumping our borders if it means they'll never see their kids again.أشهد أن لا إله إلاَّ الله و أشهد أن محمد رسول الله

I don't know what they are and are not doing, what I'm saying is that it's a bad idea to break families up unless totally unavoidable for a number of reasons, not least of which is that it provides a cause for people to rally around and further undermine border security.
Kind of like when the US took over Abu Ghraib prison and then had wingnuts US troops torturing Iraqis, some of whom were civilians. There's a number of reasons to treat people reasonably humanely, and self interest is one of them."A stupid man's report of what a clever man says can never be accurate, because he unconsciously translates what he hears into something he can understand."

I think this might be the greatest example of the media manipulating the tiny brains of the common liberal that I have seen since TDS set in. Start randomly talking about a situation that originated from liberal rule, using images taken under liberal rule, and find a way to try and pin it to Trump. I'm literally mind blown at how stupid the media (accurately) thinks people are.

I grew up in the deep south and I'm still a registered Republican but I jumped ship a while ago. I think this immigration thing is like the 9th or 10th thing that Americans need to be worried about. The U.S is steadily pissing money down the drain fighting endless wars and doing so by the trillions, yet all of this worry when an immigrant receives free benefits? It's not to say it isn't a problem, but this is not far off from worrying about the stain in the living room rug while the house is on fire.

Most logical post ITT gets overlooked here.
Take the emotions out of it. They people who should be most outraged by this are the legal immigrants who worked hard and sacrificed to become citizen of this country. They now stand by and watch people just come over, and get plenty of free benefits at no cost.6'1 - 240lbs

Except they are undocumented. There is no telling who is coming over and the kind of people they are. They are also a drain on the tax payers to the tune of about 130billion.
I agree that the military spending is ridiculously high and should be curtailed but that is a slightly different conversation though, as the USA in a lot of ways backs up the worlds military. You cannot have people crossing the border with no checks and balances when you have a country with social services. Take Canada for example. We have a border crisis because of a simple tweet, and a pansy PM.

Im not sure who is advocating for that, I certainly am not.
Its really simple.
Turn away the entire family after processing the asylum request when it turns out to be bogus like 95% of them.
Stop wasting my money jailing illegal immigrants.
Stop wasting your money jailing illegal immigrants.
Stop wasting every tax payers money jailing illegal immigrants.
Stop giving our money to corporate shareholders who do not have Americans best interest in mind when it comes to immigration.
Turn away the entire family, separating children from their parents is the biggest piece of chit move you can make.PUBG - X1
