Main event was absolutely insane.
Overall really enjoyed the card minus the CM fight, get the bull chit outta here.

A draw or one point victory for Romero were fair scores. He easily won round five 10-8.
That being said, I don't feel bad for him. This guy is the biggest cheater in the UFC between one thing and another.
At least his corner didn't dump water on him in between rounds.......this time.
He should be forced up to 205lbs, where he belongs. And he'll get his butt handed to him up there. 😀

To be honest, I wouldn't want to end CM Punk either. Dude was already looking like he was going to die and he's the nicest dude ever. Guy was throwing kindergarten punches anyway, looked like a big brother molesting junior.
I'd be legit scared to commit a murder whilst going in for the killshot.Permanent reminder that MBisonSon is a fgt => https://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=181456073

Personally I'd rather that we were a bit more careful about who we label as a racist.
Rashad has never once struck me as a racist in any way. Also, the raised fist has meant many different things historically from white power to union involvement and a bunch of other things.
Maybe it was some tribute to the 1968 Olympics; I guess we'd have to ask Rashad about that. But even if it was, paying tribute to the Civil Rights movement does not make Rashad a racist.

If any man could come out unscathed against a wrecking ball like Yoel after going 25 mins he would have to run away for most of the fight. Whittaker gets banged up, but he still is game and stands in there toe to toe, I dont think hes "injury prone" exactly, but he certainly has had some unfortunate stuff happen recently. Hopefully he can string together a few healthy years.
Im pretty sure Whittakers prime is getting cut short from these wars though. He will likely be out for another large part of a year recovering again, and we still dont know the full extent of his injuries, just the hand- alot of us thought his rear leg was showing some signs of damage to the knee or ankle or foot the way he was shaking it out all fight. He may have another pre existing issue with that leg but fought through it because he didnt want to fall out of another card.
Theres no easy fights at the top of 185, so we may be waiting a while between each fight for him to recover because the dude goes to war in there. For every man, there is a sentence, a string of words, that has the power to destroy him

Whitaker might have taken more shots in Rd 3 than 5 but he mounted some offence of his own in Rd 3 as well.
He did next to nothing in Rd 5.
My gut was to score Rd 3 10-9 and Rd 5 probably 10-8 but I'd need to re-watch and check out the scoring criteria.
Whitaker is made of iron. Shame Gegard is in Bellator as I'd love to see that fight.
I think Whitaker has his way with the current batch of challengers though Borrachinha may give him problems down the road.

Since Yoel was fighting the champ, i would of gave it Robert.
if he didnt have the belt i would of gave it to Yoel.
Robert basically had one hand for most of the fight so if he lost and there was a third fight i think Robert would win. this just made it clean so there wouldnt be one and we could move on from yoel.
