Anyone heard of or have anything from them? Saw some plates on reddit home gym and started searching. Looks like they make some nice stuff.

My response in another thread. Still waiting to hear from someone who has actually bought some Omni stuff.
Edit: I just looked at their FB page and see that they have a Spider bar now. Color me intrigued.

I hope they get a website and can figure out cheap distribution/shipping. They customize and import items not found anywhere else (bars with graphite infused bushings? is that even useful?)
They, along with Bolt Fitness in Houston, are the most interesting importers, but they only serve their local markets for now

Omnifitness? Never heard of her.
You need a good rack, a bench, and a 300-lb Olympic weight set. Now, what was your question?

Omni always teases and intrigues with their craigslist postings. Most of their stuff looks pretty decent. The guy seems to know what he's doing but doesn't seem dedicated to making a real business out of it. Who knows if they'll be around long enough to honor their warranties. I wouldn't buy big ticket items from them right now, but I'd consider plates or dumbbells.

Agreed. I've had difficulty getting answers on some things like product dimensions from the guy in the past. Business must be good. I did ask for more details on the spider bar, so we'll see if he actually responds. I really just want to know much clearance I'd have to rack the bar in my racks, since the area between the vertical sections looks fairly wide. There are so few spider bars on the market that for $350 it's worth checking out.

I’ve purchased quite a bit from him both used commercial equipment and his Omni equipment. You can’t beat his bumper plates for the price. He has them made at the same facility as Rogue in China, but he has a full plate with holes molded in so the center ring shouldn’t ever come lose. A lot of his speciality bars that I had have since been redesigned once or twice (ex. New Swiss bars are supposed to be rack-able, where as the first version I had gotten was not). His bench is a Precor Super Bench clone that is pretty nice. Some of the equipment is fairly well priced and some are really high priced compared to American made products. Hope this helps!
