She ended up standing her ground, not backing down, not apologizing and even says she would wear it again:

Would smash/10.
As a person who's half-asian/half-white. I don't care. In fact, I think it's pretty cool that she wants to wear Chinese clothing.
This whole "Political Correctness/Cultural Appropriation" thing is really stupid in my opinion.
My dad(White Male) married my Mom(Asian Females) in a traditional Korean dress in South Korea. Nobody over there complains. In fact, they're completely proud to have foreigners to experience their culture.

dude cultural appropriation is calling black girl's ghetto for wearing cornrolls/dreadlocks and then having white caucasion celebrities like Kylie Jenner wearing cornrolls and everyone is obsessed with them while making a profit and calling it a "trend".
Or making fun of poor mexicans for having designs on their jeans, then having fashion designers (caucasion) do the same (Eg. *****, YSL,) and profiting off it. Stealing the culture.
black people cannot appropriate culture from white people like you. Unless were talking about F-150's, confederate flags and country music. Please go

No actually its just a bunch of bollocks.
"Stealing the culture" give me a ****in' break.
How does someone wearing an Indian headdress to a fancy dress party affect anyone? how does a a person wearing dreadlocks affect anyone? how does this girl wearing an asian traditional dress affect anyone?
It's just another bullchit problem for the professionally outraged to worry about.

It really doesn't affect anyone but it looks like you're either mocking the culture you're dressing like or you're an impostor, which is embarrassing. I don't expect you to understand bruh, you're white. But honestly I don't really see a big problem with this, other cultures imitate American culture all the time.
