If Barboza followed that wheel-kick up with a knee then Kevin woulda have been pretty brutally KO'd. Instead he follows up with a very lazy punch. Barboza was too gassed to finish it off.

I really believe that American wrestling can’t answer the leg trapping of samba. If khabib gets in top, lee will struggle, however if lee is on top, I think khabib can survive better, if that makes sense.Originally Posted by Hardcore_D00d
Edit: in fact I don’t think any MMA really has an answer for the leg trapping that khabib does. The best thing is to just avoid the situation, but that’s incredibly hard. Just watch khabib fights closely, a lot of the time he won’t worry about passing guard like conventional ground and pounders would do, instead he has the option of pinching your legs together.
