Definitely a talented dude but I'm sure he was in a fuk ton of pain from the surgeries and couldn't stop partying.

Can you imagine how hard this guy must've partied to die this young?
I've partied a little too hard a few times in my day, and it was hard to get back to reality afterwards. This guy was topping every festival for several years. The high from being the DJ playing for 100k people while being on a plentiful cocktail of the best mind altering substances... he must have been fukin fried.
Sounded like he realized how down the hole he had gone when he quit playing live a few years ago, but it was too little too late of course.*** Dawn Patrol Crew ***

Gone too soon but never understood his popularity. He was probably a great live performer on top of having a marketable stage name but “levels” and “wake me up” never left an impression on me.

Damn, 28 years old. So many other musicians died at that age too. Crazy

Its sucks when a young person loses their life.
Im not sad, the guy got to live a dream. Sometimes dreams come with prices... but he still lived it. God bless that.Outdoors brah is a purely fictitious persona. fk'n Lmao 18.4 your welcome. I hope my comment was all you could ever ask for and more too ayyyy.
But for real Avicii made some dope music, and it is truly sad how his last year went. It has to be absolutely tough mentally and physically with what he was dealing with. I can't imagine going from a nobody to exploding and becoming a huge celebrity traveling the world playing your music and living a party lifestyle only for it to end up killing you.Fitness connoisseur

Never heard any of those tunes posted. But then again I typically listen to Metallica and such, and older hip hop. Never have cared much for this DJ/dance or club type stuff.
But I started reading a little bit up on this Avicii fellow. Too bad he drank the way he did. Sounds like he was on some brutal tour schedules, doing 27 shows over 28 days or something like that. Slowly killing himself with his lifestyle.

I still feel sad and having a hard time comprehending, started going to Ultra Music Festival every year around 2008/2009 when EDM starting getting huge and Avicci will always be one of the pioneers and faces of that movement to me. It is incredible how music can connect people and make others feel so close to someone that they've never met.

He was apparently doing over 300 shows a year at the height of his popularity, nominated for 2 grammies and a bunch of other awards. That kinda fame eats away at a lot of people, and drinking is their cope. Kind of unfair that miscers are saying it's because he's a DJ and parties too much. Rock and pop stars go out the same way all the time.

RIP Avicii
Looking up there's always sky
Rest your head, I'll take you high
We won't fade into darkness
Won't let you fade into darkness
Why worry now? You'll be safe
Hold my hand, just in case
And we won't fade into darkness
Fade into darkness
No, we won't fade into darkness
Fade into darkness
And we won't fade into darkness
Fade into darkness
No, we won't fade into darkness
Fade into darkness
This world can seem cool and grey
But you and I are here today
And we won't fade into darkness
No, we won't fade into darkness
Nothing to fear but fear itself
We'll be okay just keep the faith
And we won't fade into darkness
Fade into darkness
No, we won't fade into darkness
Fade into darkness
Fade into darkness
Fade into darkness
And we won't fade into darkness
Fade into darkness
No, we won't fade into darkness
Fade into darkness
Fade into darkness
