She was a dedicated and exemplary wife and mother, and just seemed like a lovely woman. She worked hard to support her husband and raise her children, and she worked hard for several charities. She was pro-ERA and pro-choice. So much respect for this woman.

While I never cared for George Bush or his policies, I had nothing against his wife, or for that matter, any First Lady. Babs fulfilled her role and did it well. She had a long life, and a lot of us will never reach that age. So...there it is.

We're already paying 3 million for each golf game, I can't imagine attending a funeral is any different security wise. I would think any sitting President would attend the funeral of a former 1st lady and mother of a President. Guess I was wrong.
