Just bleed fans, pepper your anguses. All four main card fights are good fights.
-Gaethje vs Poirier? Enough said.
-Does Condit still have any of that old mojo?
-Israel Adesanya the young, rising prospect
-Michelle Waterson (also enough said)

Head says Dustin hearts says Justin. If Justin's chin is still in tact post Eddie fight then he should win. Poirier crumbles when he's dragged into deep water and has a suspect chin. If Gaethje's chin is shot, then he's likely outta there in the 1st.
Condit just isn't the same anymore. He doesn't enjoy fighting, he's not the same killer. Once you start thinking retirement that's usually a wrap on your career. I hate Oliveria, so I'm rooting for Condit, but I see a boring takedown/GNP decision for him/late TKO.*****Eagles/Phillies/Flyers/Sixers*****

This is actually a really good Fox card. Maybe not for the casuals via name value, but this card has looked interesting for a while because there's some good fights throughout
I have to think Gaethje gets past Poirier. Poirier just doesn't have a chin, and is no stranger to getting drawn into a wild exchanges and brawls. I feel like Gaethje gets overrated at times, and the truth is he has very few ufc-level fights left in him before he's shot, but he should be able to put Poirier out in the meantime
I think I prefer the co-main event change with Condit fighting Oliveira. Winnable fight for Condit but we'll see how he shows up
Adesanya is getting a ridiculous amount of hype after a rather pedestrian win against a can in his last fight. Despite his highlights, he's a slight MW in need of a wrestling and ground game. I think he can get past Vetori as it's a pretty favorable matchup, but I also wouldnt be surprised if he's taken down and submitted. Still say Adesanya get's a later tko when Vetori gasses

This is actually a nice little quality card, looking forward to it.
It's possible for Poirier to outpoint Gaethje on boxing but Poirier will have to check those leg kicks me thinks. Poirier has had a suspect chin before and getting into brawls hasn't exactly been the best thing for him. But I think Gaethje wins this one.
I have no confidence in Condit, don't know who Vettori is and there is a lot of hype surrounding Adesanya. The undercard doesn't seem so bad either.

Fuk the haters, Condit will win this kickboxing match.
Gaethje vs Poirier is interesting, Poirier has the class advantage but he's obviously the far less durable of the two. IMO, Poirier has been more elusive/defensively responsible in his last couple fights than he has been in the past. I'm thinking Poirier takes a page from Eddie's book and goes to Gaethje's body early.

For some reason I honestly thought okami went to bellator

what was DC and dominic going on about where dominic said 'stop that, its not funny'? sounds like they're taking subtle jabs at each other

He's about as a bad a match-up you can give Stylebender, good chin, pressure grappler with decent striking. High chance that he grinds him out based on how many times Stylebender got taken down in his first fight.
I like this matchmaking. Rather than letting him buzzsaw 4 or 5 unranked kickboxers, they're testing his weakness right away.

It may help psychologically. He can relax, take some time off, and eat whatever for a few months.
But to your point, no, it may not help him physiologically, but then again, he hasn't even started his fight camp yet.
My guess is that he'll come in at roughly the same weight/conditioning he always did at HW before moving down to LHW.
