Do me a favour? You're saying that your profile pic here is 9 years old, meaning that you have been training or in the training related mindset for at least 9 years.
What do your lifts look like? I keep hearing you preach the ideal form, but not seeing what you're putting up in terms of numbers (that you could verify) in terms of your credibility.

The small minds on here love ad hominem attacks. Again, for the final time, my physique has absolutely nothing to do with my ability to comment on someone's godawful form and terrible lifting techniques. If all you have is going after author's AVI then you seriously have nothing to add here.

Your own post simply shows your own small mind, by the way. Where in my post did I attack you? You said your profile picture is 9 years old, implying that you've 'been around' for 9 years, and I'm wondering what your numbers look like considering you're calling people out for "terrible lifting techniques". Hint: before using phrases like ad hominem, you should try to understand what they mean. I am relating your "9 years old" comment to your "lifting experience" to your calling people out for "terrible lifting techniques" which could, for example, be backed by a video of you showing people how it's done.
Or else, you're just another 'small minded chit talker' yourself, talking chit on the internet. And then your opinion means f**k all, get it?

And for the record, I'd be a hell of a lot more proud of myself for benching 275 with proper form than 550 huge cheat reps. Most people would be embarrassed to be caught on video doing what this jackass did. The point is strength, not coming up with some ridiculous leverage technique to get a #. Isn't that the point of powerlifting? To determine strength? Doing a bench of 2" ROM with a huge arch is not a demonstration of strength, but a demonstration of a ridiculous cheat techniques.

Except it does. You bashed this guy for having a less than stellar physique despite him not focusing on bodybuilding. Then critique his form saying it's bad and it's not correct meanwhile you look terrible and haven't posted a video of you benching "correctly". The only video I saw here was some weak dude struggle with 2 plates and subtle brag about it cause it was "proper" form.
With your total, I'd say so.560/425/750 - 1735@207

Not sure your point, if you have one. But the guy in OPs video is clearly open trash talking since he actually went on the internet and posting a video of himself claiming to put up a big lift. I'm not claiming jack ****ing **** other than the guy in the video has nothing to be proud of.

You're ignoring any post that actually calls you out (like my previous post and the one before that), so how about this:
https://www.strongerbyscience.com/how-to-bench/
You're so fond of thinking that people here have small minds, yet your own posts show that you're the mentally deficient person here. Read that article and then get back to us on the issue of 'arching' in the context of others' posts here on the advantages etc.

If all the small minds have on here is ad hominem attacks then I'm out. Clearly a lot of folks here are butthurt because they also use terrible form just so they can hit a certain # to impress their boyfriends. Whatever. Do what you want. I really don't give a **** until someone claims pride in making such a lift. Same thing that bothers me about fake natties on instagram, etc. Just admit you are cheating and be done with it, very few are actually impressed.

You went from crying about arch that are "cheating" to crying about fake natties. Facts are you can't even unrack that weight, everyone crying he is cheating can't either. Dude has a regular arch and grip of 385 on his IG. Fact is wide grip and big arch adds maybe 20-30 lbs at best lol, he's not cheating when playing with the rules most guys his size so in competition. You keep calling us butt hurt while crying and writing novels.

There's the rules then there's following the spirit of the rules. This kind of crap is called a loophole and it should be addressed. Just because it is within the rules does not mean it is good for the spirit of competition. Obviously I believe any rules that allow the nonsense seen in OPs video to be legal should be changed. Saying you bench 550 means one thing, the video shows something else entirely.
