The fuk is with school shootings nowadays?

A 14 year old kid got arrested a block away from my highschool today for posessing a firearm (revolver)

Turns out an adult saw the kid with the gun and called police and they rushed to the scene ASAP and managed to arrest the guy at 2:30 PM. I got done with classes at 2:15 PM. Scary as fuk to think that if somebody hadn't called and I got held up for any reason something bad could've happened.

Not only that, but a town about 1 1/2 hours away also just had a kid arrested for bringing a firearm to school. A middle school in town here was also on lockdown for 2-3 hours based on threats posted on social media.

What the fuk is making people resort to this sort of ****? Is it the soy?

The 24/7 nonstop media coverage of these shootings will contribute to these kids being influenced to shoot places up. They are sensationalizing this stuff for views/ratings and people who are phucked in the head are getting ideas.

They are mentally unstable due to the bad condition provided by the environment live in. They very lack of love from their parents, relatives and neighbors. All they receive are nothing but cruelty.

They are extremely suffering inside, hence they want others to feel the pain too....

The kid was walking towards the HS, and was about a block away when he was caught. When investigated, he said he "found it in a field"

Poor mental health treatment due to over medicating to mask symptoms, instead of proper treatment.

Sadly for so many illnesses it's more profitable to prescribe ongoing treatment than it would be for a swift cure. Treating mental health is expensive, you need staff, studies, facilities etc so instead they just throw a bunch of pills @ the problem and call it day. Poor early social development/interpersonal skills and building emotional resilience is also a problem that social media and a coddling society is causing. So many kids depressed over the most trivial nonsense, unable to have normal exchanges or process any sort of bullying/conflict. That and people having kids when they are horrible, irresponsible parents - but this has always been a huge problem.

I just wish these guys reached out for help. I'd have a shoulder and an ear for them to lean on and talk to. Just kind of sad seeing this surge around the nation.

Some people just have brains that don't work right. They used to toss these people into asylums. Now we drug them and hope they don't eventually kill people.

Also doesn't help that they see the instant fame/immortality given to these shooters. Media should be prohibited from posting the name and image of these sickos. Or at least realize they're not helping matters and stop giving these scumbags what they want.

There was a case a while back about a kid that brought a gun to school so try and defend himself from getting caught up in a gang.

I really doubt this kid had any legitimacy though.

Elliot Rodger was a member on bb and used to post a lot. People gave him solid advice and the dude was still delusional. Some of these kids are just nuts man.
