Seat belts save COUNTLESS lives during vehicle collisions/wrecks... but occasionally, even a seat belt may not be enough to prevent a fatality. Does that mean a seat belt isn't an effective tool for safety?
To generalize and insinuate that EVERY armed guard would drop the ball like in this circumstance, is borderline irresponsible.
I'm sure you can utilize google and find plenty of scenarios where someone with a firearm was able to deescalate a potentially terrible massacre, or more importantly end the threat completely.
Armed guards are a much better solution than a "gun free zone" sign posted out front (That's done so much to stop these things thus far).
It's also a better solution than banning firearms and expecting shootings to become non existent. It's not realistic. There's too many guns in circulation and there will ALWAYS be those who wish to do harm onto others.

lol Israeli Teachers >>> SoyBoy Cops
https://www.israelnationalnews.com/A...cle.aspx/21714
When terrorists attacked a school in Maalot in 1974, Israel did not declare every school a gun-free zone. It passed a law mandating armed security in schools, provided weapons training to teachers and today runs frequent active shooter drills. There have been only two school shootings since then, and both have ended with teachers killing the terrorists.
