    I Want to Get Cut but Don't Like Vegetables

    EYes, I'm one of those weirdos and if there is one thing I could change about myself, would be liking vegetables. I've talked to therapists for years, and have tried systematic desinsitization as well as other methods. I just throw up. It really sucks, but I've just learn to accept I'm a manchild in this aspect of life.

    I just started working out a month ago using whey protein, glutamine and BCAA's. I do an hour everyday, alternating arms and chest one day, then legs the next, and different ab excerices everyday.

    I've read, testosterone boosters as well as thermogenics are good additions.

    I eat about 2000 calories a day or less of meat and potatos. Lol I do take fiber and eat yogurt, as well as a multi-vitamin. I'm 29, 5 10, 200lbs.

    So can I get cut? Should I give the testosterone, and thermogenics a try? Is my workout schedule good enough? Should I try to do cardio? An hour a day is all I have for working out.

    Weight loss is more relative to the amount of calories rather than the source so you can achieve your body composition goals but for optimal health it would be in your best interest to try and learn a way to consume vegetables. Particularly those of the cruciferous variety. Testosterone boosters won't do much but help with mood and sleep and majority of weight loss supplements will help with appetite suppression but the effects on weight loss may be negligible. Also incorporate back work into your workouts.

    I'm not proud of it but I don't eat veggies very often. I supplement with multi just. I'll eat veggies when they are made for me or I'm out, but at home, I just can't be arsed making them.

    I think it might affect my skin in a negative way, but that is my own fault. Veggies don't have a direct correlation to weight loss, if that was your concern, but they might help with other more important factors.

    This; I lost 30 lbs in prep for my last show and dont think I ate more than an ear of corn.
    In fact, I did less than 2 hrs total time of cardio too (because cardio is evil as well); I did it all on a caloric deficit

    You don;t need veggies for any aspect of training. You should watch fiber intake. This is one of the best reasons for veggies.

    It’s nice to hear that we can come back from fusions. I’ve had two and the doctors say I need one additional. Veggies, they have never been in my “want to eat” category however, from what I have researched a great vitamin pack will fill in any gaps.

    Thermo, do you take them? If so do you take them while takeing Pre-work/pumps?

    Veggies are not a requirement to get cut/lose weight, you just need to ensure that you are eating in a caloric deficit diet (eating below maintenance calories).

    You can always look at a green powder to ensure that you are at least getting some of the nutrients from veggies in your diet.

    I have, and can eat vegetables, they are great. Start of 2015 I thought let's see if I can achieve the levels of shreds I got in 2013/2014 WITHOUT vegetables. Turns out you can as for 2 years I went without and no problems, I have my multivitamins and supplements hit my training and still got super shredded. Point is as others mentioned it is down to calories in vs calories burnt so as with anything you got to work your ass off. But do try to do something to get the minerals that a decent serving of vegetables give you and try to just find something you can eat. After my second year without veg, Muscletech put together Whey and Greens. A greens powder may be something to think about?
