Here is the video I promised you on the escalator I take everyday, as you can see mostly everyone stands on the right and just waits. This escalator is mad long and waiting on that sh!t would rive me crazy. And no my hand is not on the rail LOL one hand is recording the other holding my briefcase. Not sure if in the video you can see how steep it is, but it is mad steep.
This was in the morning so it was packed - going up
This was at night coming home so it wasn't so packed- going down

Doing some fact finding, because... I wanted to, it turns out that the longest individual escalator in the world is in Saint Petersburg. Damn Russians have us beat.
The longest I have seen must be one in London Heathrow airport, when you move from an arrival gate to the main arrival hall. Seems to take an eternity to get to the top of that one. It didn't make the list on Wikipedia, and I couldn't find how long it is.

He already put out the sequel. There is a video for Stairs and Stairs 2. Are you expecting him to turn it into a trilogy? To be fair it appears that Stairs 2 actually takes place before Stairs. Its a prequel and origin story, showing the life of Bodyhard and how he got on top of the stairway in the beginning of the first Stairs movie.

Hudson Yards, nice ride. Worked down at Loreal on 31st last winter. Escalator to hoist. Be surprised how many people are scared of those things. Had a guy worked with us for one day then called the boss and told him he wasn't coming back because he was afraid of the hoist. Have you seen this?

I understand it's virtually impossible to get a permit in NY. Move to Texas and you can open carry on your hip if you wish. No one does that, though, as they'd prefer the element of surprise. You can openly carry long guns without a permit, though you seldom see that either. Most long guns are stored in the trunk of the car.
