Hello everyone! Someone sent me this link and I am glad as it looks like there are a lot of questions. I am the developer of the Genesis Jack. It is a project I started working on back in 2015 and was an idea in my head about a year before that. I felt that there was a "void" in the market as full size DL jacks were bulky and immobile and the mini jacks available didn't seem to do that great of a job as well as still not being quite portable. My goal was to develop a mini jack that you can fit in your gym bag, was light-weight, and most importantly WORKED really well (at the same time trying to make it as affordable as possible.) I went through many revisions to get to this point and am very happy with the outcome as well as the positive response it has been receiving. Ill do my best to answer some of the questions in this thread but everyone feel free to ask away if you have anymore!
We are working with shipping providers on better shipping rates. I based the shipping costs off the average of what the 10 were that I sent out for promos. The jack itself is VERY light but I believe it is the size/shape of the box that drove up the cost a bit. Unfortunately it wont fit in any flat rate boxes that are available.
I contemplated on sending the jacks out unassembled but I didnt want the liability or risk of someone assembling it improperly (there are a total of 38 pieces), creating instructions, not being available for customer support as I still have a demanding full time job. Also, due to machining tolerances, sometimes I have to "massage" a few areas for everything to fit together nicely. I wanted the consumer to receive the product and be able to use it immediately.
All in all we are so grateful for all of the support we have received and are striving to get all orders shipped out around the end of the month as promised. I have been in constant contact with the machine shops/suppliers in order to make sure delays are minimized. Thanks you all so much for the affirming comments. I put a lot of thought and time into this project and am proud of the end result.
P.S. I am currently working on a full size jack based off this design as I feel there is still a lot of room for improvement when it comes to larger DL jacks.

Can't wait to get it. I keep refreshing the Instagram page for updates lol
If you can make a full size jack that can be easily maneuvered and some how folded up or easily pulled apart for storage for us with small garage or basement gyms then sign me up ASAP. Hey Jason,
That Youtube video was fun and my first project in regards to gym equipment. I have definitely expanded my horizons since then haha. My goal with this next project is to make it the lightest and easiest full size jack to use, which is a big challenge. I'ts funny you mention a folding feature as that was one of my prototypes for the mini jack. Unfortunately in doing so it hurts the strength as well as drives the cost up (cost has been one of the biggest challenges). I am excited to bring another great product to the market. Steve, I'd love to see what ideas you have up your sleeves for a full size jack. Curious about dimensions you choose, design, etc. Any ETA for that?
Lots of people who understand equipment on this forum, so if you ever want to bounce ideas, lots of people here I'm sure will offer opinions (never hurts as not to overlook something).
Good luck with the jack. I think Brandon did a lot of good in adverting it.USAPL RAW Competitor

Awesome Instagram update for those that bought first out of the gate. Shipping as soon as they're put together and planning on getting everyone out by end of month.

No kidding. You really needed to start your build a month sooner and get on all the black Friday deals.
I've got a cheap pine area so will be interesting how long it lasts. Mine just sits on a mat flooring so super easy to swap it out. FYI, your video was well done for this jack and liked that you loaded that sucker up. That helped to see it's capacity. I'm pretty sold on some Rogue KG plates too now but going to wait till next black friday for some hundo pricing. My Training Journal: http://tinyurl.com/jasons-journal

Hey Dude,
I project the dimensions will be about the same in width and height but the handle will not need to be as long due to the fulcrum design. It will also be A LOT lighter as well as easier to use. Better on all fronts. It may be a few months before it becomes public as I want to ensure I get enough time to test and revise. I'm always open to ideas and input so if anyone has any suggestions I'm all ears.

Steve, thanks, can't wait to see it. The only reason I'm asking about width is I have a platform and don't want the jack to ruin the wood. On that note, the few ideas I've had with full-sized jacks are:
1. Ability to adjust the width, by essentially having two mini-jacks connected by a square bar (also makes the system modular, so you can still take the mini off and take it with you or buy a mini and then upgrade to a full jack later, easier storage, etc)
2. Have a removable handle, because that's partly what makes the full-sized jack a bear to store - not really novel, but I don't think anybody is doing it
Anyway, not sure if these are useful, but there you goUSAPL RAW Competitor

I was actually discussing the modular design with a friend recently. There would be 2 handles which would be different. Making things adjustable is a good idea. I will just have to come up with a way that doesnt drive the cost too high or weaken the jack.
Good points though. Thank you.556/325/622 - 1504 total raw @ 193

Maybe have the handle with two hinged arms at the bottom. The two arms fold out into a T shape with fixtures that slip over/clamp on to two of the mini jacks.
Of course this increases forces on the existing jack but would reduce the number of different parts you actually have to stock. Use it, then remove the jacks, throw one back in the gym bag and fold up the "Handle" to stand up in the corner. OR Hinge the fixtures that hold the jacks and it would all fold up like a letter "M" with the handle coming up out of the middle of the "M" for those that don't necessarily want to take it apart they could leave the jacks attached all the time.

For a mini jack cost is a bigger deal as people are looking to save money or space VS a full size jack and there's a lot of low cost options in this space.
For an innovative new design that's lightweight, easy to move around, modular, and compactable for storage cost is going to be less of an issue as you're now competing against a much higher cost product. My Training Journal: http://tinyurl.com/jasons-journal

To anyone interested, West Cary Barbell is not making gym equipment anymore. I contacted the owner, looking for a full size DL jack, after having one of their mini's, and he told me that he's no longer in business making gym equipment. FYI.

Can't wait to get this jack. I've got 4 pulling sessions a week now
Some of it is block pulls. This is what I'm really hoping will be improved. This is super sketchy with my current mini jack.

As I get back up to some decent weight I can't use this jack anymore like that. Gets to much movement and it's barely on the mats.My Training Journal: http://tinyurl.com/jasons-journal
