Disney is treading on thin ice with these. If they fuk 'em up, they're gonna have a lot of people pissed off for ruining their childhood. Just look at the recent star wars backlash.

Lion King sounds stupid srs. I could be wrong, but it sounds fukkin stupid.

I hear you guys, but making a third movie a DECADE after the last one came out is just them betting on a sure thing, it's not the same star power as that "Oh CHIT, Will Smith's in this" feels we had as 90's kids.

At leat it made up for MIB2 which was borderline garbage.

I heard Jungle Book and Beauty and the beast were good (Haven't seen either because I'm afraid of tainting my childhood), so they may do a good job on this.

Both of those movies were petty legit. I liked how they did The Jungle Book more, but Beauty and The Beast wasn’t bad. Lion King is my favorite animated movie ever though, so they’d better not screw this up.

I've said this for years that I question most of Will Smith's role choices. This movie apparently tackles race and class issues but he has had many opportunities to be the lead in one of those movies that is more relevant to that than something like this.

I am Legend bothered me because (and I know how "that guy" this sounds, sry) the book has a KILLER twist that they didn't have the balls to keep in, and had to give it a Hollywood ending. But yeah, on it's own merits it was pretty good.
