Cinnamon and snickerdoodle are two separate types of flavoring. Sure, cinnamon is used with snickerdoodle, but Promore had it right that the Snickerdoodle flavor is more it's own spice and not cinnamon cookie like PES and other protein powders make that mistake. No, I don't get any hint of snickerdoodle to this protein. However your interpretation of snickerdoodle and mine might be different.

Let's keep in mind and this is just in general not targeted at you lol just saying but "Snickerdoodle" the key difference is the use of cream of tartar, which is an acid salt giving it a very unique texture and flavor without the cream of tartar it will not taste the same nor have the same texture making it a Cinnamon Sugar Cookie without which is very different.

That Cream Of Tartar causes the cookie to rise different the acid creates a more acidic batter this causes a double rise from the leavening agents but it also changes the taste of the cinnamon it self as well the sugar.


As to ProMORE and it's "Snickerdoodle" that is very far from a snickerdoodle as I posted before it launched and I will continue to maintain it :P It's not Snickerdoodle but a Spicecake/Spice Bread in flavor which I do really like but I wish they would have labeled it as as "Spice Cake" the PES Snickerdoodle from all of the Snickerdoodle proteins I have had is the closest IMO to the cookie and I think it's really good as well it's just named more accurately to me.

^For anyone who has never had a homemade snickerdoodle cookie, their very easy and quick to make here is a good classic recipe. Just remember to pull them out before they look finished they will continue cooking as it cools if you leave them in the oven till it "Looks" done you will over cook it and the texture will be ruined.

Yes, definitely. She filmed it kind of from just over my right shoulder and a high camera angle, so it's hard to gauge. Next time I'll try to get the camera angle directly from the side and low enough that angles aren't playing tricks. Alas, I'll have to wait at least another 4 weeks to go for another heavy single, and possibly longer depending on how i'm feeling that day as I've been trying to give rep PR's precedence over singles.

thanks, man, I thought the Ghost snickerdoodle was pretty close to the actual cookie, but I can tell a difference between PES and others that are supposedly cinnamon roll / or its spinoffs. so many people has said that both quests ctc and precision "taste just like cinnamon toast crunch" I eat CTC all the time and I've never had a protein that tasted just like the milk, they always just taste like if you put cinnamon in skim milk lol

I've never had AI's though, is it worth a try? I love their Bday Cake.

I did not have a chance to try Ghosts version of Snickerdoodle. In comparison to PES, I'd say the flavoring isn't far off from it in regards to the cinnamon, just not as sweet and thick. I'd say it's well worth the try(Patriot Whey). But yea, with the Patriot Whey, "doodle" might be in the name, but they aren't trying to flavor with snickerdoodle. It's a cinnamon toast crunch protein.
AI Sports is WELL WORTH the buy. When we had the protein wars here on the forum, they won because of Cinnamon Roll. You legit get the strong flavor, just the perfect amount of sweetness, and has a legit butter flavoring to it. The flavor depth is fantastic on it and my favorite cinnamon besides XF UP.

AI Sports Cinnamon is pretty good, but I would put it along the lines of Syntha-6 Cinnamon Bun. XF makes hands down the best Cinnamon Roll which is a much more complex bakery style Cinnamon Roll in flavor, instead of the more often/common sweet cinnamon frosting flavoring of most others.


AI Sports tastes nothing like a cookie or cereal tho more of like a packaged cinnamon roll

CTD has a Cinnamon Crunch Cereal so does Quest out of those I liked Quests more, but didn't as much care for either of them. Thought CTD was too strong on the flavoring and Quest I didn't like the added crunch pieces they didn't have the right flavoring tho Quest overall did really good on their protein I like their Strawberry a whole lot.

Absolutely! Be proud of the hard work and dedication you put in.

I know a lot of people say this, and looking back on it now it's probably my BIGGEST regret in this sport ... but take as many progress pictures as possible. It's a great way to see what is working and what is not. I have a few ... pretty much from when I was in High School and how I look now. I missed all those valuable years of building muscle slowly but steadily. I wish I had more pictures to compare, but I got nothing

That is the exact reason I use progress pictures. Seeing pictures from the past is a great way to see how far you have come.

After another shake in the middle of the night because I woke up starving and having it for breakfast, I should alter my opinion on the base flavoring to being much better than "good". Still falls short of AI Sport Cinnamon Roll regarding flavor depth and thickness, but I did notice much more flavor depth to it after trying it 2 more times. In almond milk, not water.....this isn't poverty hour. Easily the best of any companies attempt to replicate Cinnamon Toast Crunch.....and it helps having actual pieces of cereal in it. I almost don't want to use it with the blender because of the cereal pieces.

Pics is always the best indication. Better than a scale, better than a mirror. However I don't live with anybody to take pics right away in the morning and I don't think I'm ever going to compete, so no weekly pics for me. Yea, I keep all old pics on ******** because then I can kind of see how far I have come and difference over the years. Big, out of shape 300lber to all the pictures taken as I was doing cardio and getting down to 175lb. Then 175lb through various cut and bulk cycles to where I am now. But then I deactivated ********, so I can see all those pics when I eventually activate it again.
