Not sure if repost but if it is let me know and I'll delete
I heard about this story a while ago and yesterday the footage of it got released by the judge. It's fuked up. I know there's a lot of police officers on the misc so I want to hear their opinions on how this officer handled the situation

-that was hard to watch
-at first I was like that cop just plain murdered a scared chitless dude
-watching it a second time - the dude reached for the small of his back after being told numerous times not to. Sure many police have not reacted to this gesture and have paid with their life...tough one to call

That cops a piece of chit. How can you possibly shoot a dude who's clearly pissing in his pants crying begging you not to shoot?
If that piece of chit felt threatened in this situation he shouldn't be a cop.

that entire procedure scared the chit outta me and I'm just watching it on video, not experiencing it in real life.

honestly who crawls like that?
I mean it clearly looked like he was reaching in his waistband trying to pull something out.

Yeah it did look like That, but why the phuck was the cop making him crawl over to him and chit? What's wrong with telling the dude to lay down, hands on back of head, legs crossed, then the cop go over and cuff him?
Cop was telling dude to do alot of bull**** then kills him. I've never seen a cop order someone to crawl over to them with their legs remaining crossed.

Crawling towards the cops then reaches back with his right arm. No bueno. Sure, maybe he didn't seem like much of a threat but the cop doesn't know what he's reaching for.
Always 4.

What the hell were they suspected of that they were going Full Metal Jacket on them? I was about ready for the cop to say "now choke yourself!" after the guy went to his knees.

I 100% agree, he should've done that. Idk why he didn't. These days cops tell you to do so much shiet you practically can't even crawl/walk slow without being shot. Either way it looked like he was reaching for something and the cop reacted in the heat of the moment. Very unfortunate situation.

Why the phuck was he being told to move? One of them could have just gone up to him and cuffed him as he was on the floor. Telling him to move doesn't seem sensible , it creates a situation where a scared person can make a mistake

I support all LEOs making it home safely from duty, but have to say that was handled in a total chitshow of procedure. The cop was escalating the situation by scaring the hell out of an already panicked guy, and was in no immediate danger. But the guy who got shot was also doing some stupid things and making moves that put him at risk, keeping your cool is job #1 when you are the wrong end of the barrel.

What I said in R&P
Strange situation. I get the crawl to you approach as you don't know what is in the doorway if you approach him. I don't get him going to his knees and having him place hands behind his back. Had opportunity to pull on you there. You can't Monday morning quarterback this stuff. Had every reason to make him do the actions he did yet the shoot still looks bad to me. Been in many situations like this and it all comes down to training and personal observation to the scenario in front of you. It's a highly stressful and adrenaline fueled scenario. Very unfortunate as a life is lost and someone who didn't intend to take a life had to make a split second decision to do so. Race doesn't matter in situations like this no matter what media wants you to believe. Life and death scenarios don't cover race. It covers what the hell is going to kill me right now this second.

looking more into this and watching other vids even that witness who was at court
apparently, her and her male friend were at the hotel for a business trip, met that guy (the one who got shot ) had a pellet gun. She claims they were pointing it at the window which is when police were called.
she stated that, the guys shorts were falling which is why he reached backThe coming of the Manlet saviour
