    Does anyone here NOT take supliments?

    Well hopefully this is an ok place to ask this question. I've been known to spend as much as 200 dollars or so a month on sups. We're talking creatine, whey, glutamine, and hydroxicut. The thing is, this stuff is really starting to add up, and with a new kid on the way I know my money could be better spent on other things. I guess what I wanted to ask is for anyone who use to use a lot of sups, but stoped to maybe just using whey post workout (after weights) or no sups at all, did you notice any drastic change in your body? Did you look different, feel different? Just curious. Hopefully this wont be met with flames.

    All I take anymore is my whey protien. It was driving me nuts how much I was spending on everything, half of which probably wasnt even doing much.

    oh and glutamine if Im trying to cut

    i just use a good multi-vitamin. Dont worry about protein powders if their costly.. you cant beat the quality of good food.

    I don't take many supps either just whey and glutamine and creatine but I don't really notice anything when I don't take them for awhile. I think it's much more important how you eat.

    Bump. It's cheaper to buy Whey then to get the same in real food. I only use heavy supps during bulking cycles and post cycle the rest of the time it's only a multi-vit and protein powder. Gains come a lot slower without creatine etc.. but you also don't lose anything if your eating right.

    i take a multi in the morning and a 2 scoops of protein powder after my workout, the rest is food

    some flax seed oil if my joints hurt to much for to long

    it's not like you need **** loads of supps but without protein powder it just not possible to get to your daily protein dossage

    Yeah I'm cutting right back. At the moment I'm not taking any supplements and just see how my results come along. I think about the hundreds of bucks i've spent of supplements and how I could have put it to better use.

    ive tried everything known to man over the past 15 years.
    i'm done with supplements. if its not a pharmasutical, i'm not using it. i'm tired of the lies and the wasted money. i dont give damn about being natural as long as what i spend my money on works. spending $200 bucks a month for 5 lbs of water weight gain is horse****.

    Cool to see many bro's here who are not suppliment freaks (especially some of the vets like amusclehead) it makes me feel better about my decision to cut out all the excess sups. At most I'll be sticking to a protein shake after weight training.

    I havent taken any supps yet. I just eat a lot of good things like Peanut Butter, Milk, Tuna fish. I eat 2 cans of tuna a day. Plus my dad likes to barbeque alot so i get alot of beef and chicken. I dont really see the need to take any protien as i get a lot of it. And i get good gains too.

I guess what I wanted to ask is for anyone who use to use a lot of sups, but stoped to maybe just using whey post workout (after weights) or no sups at all, did you notice any drastic change in your body? Did you look different, feel different? Just curious. Hopefully this wont be met with flames.
    I used to spend around $100 on supps every month and that was when I didn't have a job. Now, I don't spend jack **** on supps. All I do is drink milk in between my workout and postworkout ---fcuk that fast absorbing and slow absorbing bull****! lol
    The weird thing is that I actually look better without taking supps

    I used to take them when I was younger, it just got to costing to much for a poor college student so now I just stick to protien.
