Its not bait. There's no problem with other people living together in one place from all over the world. Its when you try to mesh their cultural norms with the norm the western ,and then THEY get upset because the people of this new world do not abide by the laws of their old country. Its douchey and inconsiderate to move to another country to demand people change to "your" whims. Imagine if an American moved to Saudi Arabia and demanded that churches be built and that women should wear bikinis at the beach by protesting in front of their Parliament. They would literally hang him from the highest bridge in the city.
Sorry, but if you're going to move to another country, you abide by their laws and customs.

Srs response to what seems to be a baited thread.
I'm all in for people sharing their cultures/etc. Mainly thinkin about food. Love all different kinds from all over the world. That being said - there are also some nasty foods that I don't want to try. I think if we could agree on some basic foundation laws that we all agree to and then other than that live and let live.
Meaning - you don't get to kill/harm anyone just cause of some ideal - it has to be self defense, physical harm self defense, not hurt feelings the only time you can kill/harm someone.
Don't steal.
Don't force your customs onto others - feel free to share but if you don't get to force or get butt-hurt and lash out if people choose not to follow suit. So long as these customs don't do one of the aboves.
If a chick wants to cover herself fully then whatever. If a chick wants to walk around naked then whatever. Not saying these are going to be great sights at times but it's not causing me physical harm. If a dude wants to have multiple wives and they all consent, then whatever. If a chick wants multiple husbands and they all consent, whatever.
What I am preaching is resilience - sure I probably won't agree with a lot but so long as you don't cause me and my family harm then what does it matter?
This just a 5 min though - surely we can get in the weeds with scenarios and what not but at least it's a start.
The last thing I will add; however, is that if you go to a specific country and they have their national customs, say standing and singing their national anthem - you can get butt-hurt about it but that doesn't mean you get to force them to stop for your feelings. Your only choice is not to partake. Now when you do this, again I may disagree with your choice and see it unprofessional when you choose to protest and wrong but I don't get to force you to do it. I may have a poor opinion about you is all."We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence then, is not an act, but a habit." -Will Durant
"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure." - Marianne Williamson
