Knee pain when standing up from squatting while on tiptoes
Hello
I hope you can help me - I've recently developed pain in the back of one knee, probably from incorporating skipping and olympic lifting (full clean and jerk, snatch, did a lot of mobility work for this) into my routine.
Now:
Nonspecific pain in my knee:
- when I squat down while on my tiptoes
- or when I kneel with my butt on my ankles, keeps abs tight and move to a kneeling position (hips forward) without using my upper body to move forward.
I can squat and do my olympic lifting movements without any pain.
I also went to a sports physio who said he couldn't find anything wrong, even though I have this pain.
Anyone else had this? Did it go away after a few months? I've had it for 6 months now.
Joint pains are ****ing horrible, they tend to take ages to go away. If it's nothing too major then I would recommend taking Cissus, that stuff is great for sore joints. It speeds up recovery and has an anti-inflammatory effect.
Back in April/May I was suffering from severe knee pain (looking back on it, I think it was just a simple overuse injury). I couldn't squat above 80% and all my lifts stagnated. Sometimes the pain would wake me up at night. For that I had to resort to Deca... took it for 13 weeks and it sorted me out nicely. The pain went away by week 6 and it hasn't returned since. I also gained a ****load of strength from it.
