I almost think the fact that getting sex is harder for males makes it worse if he's getting a lot. That says to me that he goes out of his way to try and get with these randoms, and works extra hard focusing on bull**** like this, when he should be focusing on ACTUALLY being productive. Since it's easy for women, at least that means they're not wasting their lives away trying to sleep with men. I don't see what's so admirable about spending a lot of time trying to sleep with lots of women instead of doing something useful.

Also the biological factor is a poor excuse. The drive behind spreading your seed is to actually impregnate, which logically you men don't want to be doing. If you can hold back on the biological instinct to reproduce, you can hold back on the biological instinct to spread your seed.

Besides the reproductive strategy/hormonal difference I think there is also the issue of people wanting to feel that their chosen relationship has value.

If a guy has been through a very high number of women and hasn't formed a lasting attachment then that seems to support the fact that either he isn't capable of forming said attachment, or that many women have already given it a go and decided he wasn't worth keeping.

So taken to the other extreme (outside of the very religious/conservative types) a guy with no sexual experience, or very little, seems like this is a guy that either doesn't have the drive to achieve a goal (sex) or isn't really a catch because in this case it looks like other women didn't even find him worth trying out.
